Very good choice for visitors to Paris

Posted Jan 16, 2018
Pros: Warm rooms, hot showers with plenty of water pressure
Cons: Nothing - it's great
Location: Located in the Latin Quarter, in the centre of tourist activity. Lots of restaurants, curio shops, the metro and the BigBus tours.
The hotel is situated near to the metro, the line that covers a number of attractions. The staff are very efficient and spoke English. Very obliging printing tickets received by email, arranging transport to and from the airport as well as being a mine of information for things like doctors, chemists and laundry. Highly recommended.

Nice hotel and excellent service. Rooms are dated and dark, could use lighter colors.

Great Location!

Posted Dec 18, 2017
Pros: close to metro stops & offered shuttle to airport
Cons: After the first day, in room regular coffee packs were never replaced. Even went to desk to ask for more which never appeared.
Location: Great location! Notre Dame within walking distance. Plenty of bars & small cafes nearby.
Within walking distance of Notre Dame Cathedral. Several Metro stations close by made it easy to get around Paris without a car & to get to all of the top rated tourist sites. Many, many cute little eateries located in the blocks surrounding the hotel. Hotel offered 2 levels of breakfast (buffet &/or continental) which was nice, especially if you wanted to get something to eat quickly to then get on with your day. Also offered a shuttle ride to the airport (for a fee) which was easier than taking the Metro & less expensive than taking a taxi.

Short Paris vacation

Posted Dec 12, 2017
Pros: The view of the Eiffel Tower from the balcony.
Cons: Access to more English programs on the television.
Location: Good location and close to Notre Dame.
The Holiday Inn - Notre Dame is a nice, quaint hotel. The rooms are a bit small, but that was to be expected, as most hotel rooms in Paris are rather small. The restroom was extra small, with the toilet being in an awkward location. Overall, the atmosphere and view was great.

Nice hotel, great tourist location, busy street.

Posted Dec 11, 2017
Pros: Decent sized rooms, comfy beds, very clean, interior of hotel very quiet.
Cons: Bathroom privacy - needs a properly closing door on the bathroom and get rid of the window between the bathroom and bedroom.
Location: Good location for metro and RER or for walking to centre. Lots of cafes restaurants in nearby streets doing good deals.
Overall good experience - hotel is close to the RER on the line from CDG airport, well kept, clean, has reasonable sized rooms for a city centre hotel with comfy beds and there is a rooftop terrace which would be great in the summer. Paris isn't cheap but there are plenty of good places to eat nearby and if you go into the side streets you can get a good meal while avoiding rip-off prices. The Metro is close by or, if you like walking, you can get pretty much anywhere on foot. We only used the Metro twice in four days. There were only two minus points - (i) the road the hotel is on is busier (certainly at weekends) than it looked on Streetview with bin lorries that collect at 6.30am and (ii) the interior designers have decided that it is a good idea to have a window between the bathroom and bedroom with a blind on the outside and a sliding glass door which doesn't really close properly. Travelling with a spouse/partner it is tolerable but not great if you were travelling with a friend. Style over practicality.

Loved the room and rooftop

Posted Nov 28, 2017
Pros: Loved the location, beds (had a great sleep) and the rooftop!!
Cons: I recommend that the cable company should include more channels that are english speaking. They only had CNN and another sports channel in english.
Location: excellent location. Walking distance to many rest., Notre Dame, Saint Chapel, St. Michel fountain and a few blocks away from St. Germain Blvd.
the location on this hotel is excellent. Rue Danton is a very "picturesque" street filled with rest. Very much what the Paris scenery is. Righ next to the hotel you can find a mini convenience store for any of your needs (fruit, water, etc) It is walking distance to Notre Dame and Saint Chapel. Both very beautiful.

Wonderful location short walking distance to Notre Dame, Pont Neuf, Saint Chapelle, Blvd. Saint Germain, and walkable to Louvre, Place Vendome, Galeries Lafayette. Rooms small (but normal for the area), but comfortable. Rooftop deck with Eiffel tower view puts it over the top!

Good location

Posted Oct 29, 2017
Pros: The location, and the view from the roof bar of the Eiffel Tower was spectacular especially at night.
Cons: The bathrooms. Maybe the lobby bar wasn’t very inviting.
Location: The location was excellent. Five minutes walk to Notre Dame cathedral, 2 minutes walk to the metro and plenty restaurants nearby.
Friendly staff. We booked a standard room but as we were staying 4 nights they gave us a “larger” room which was meant for wheelchair users. The problem we had was the bathroom which was a wet room and although there was curtains round the shower the floor got soaked. The big issue we had was the door into bathroom, it was a frosted glass sliding door and when closed it did not close properly therefore you had no privacy at all.

nice hotel near attractions

Posted Oct 15, 2017
Pros: It is located very near important attractions and has good transport facilities.
Cons: The towels and pillows need to be changed and improved.
This is the second time I stay at this hotel. I like it because it is walking distance to anywhere and has good transport connections. It is in a lively neighborhood, plenty of brasseries nearby.
