The facilities are superb - we just wish we could have stayed longer!"

"The hotel is set in a rural area although it’s on a main route through the area. There is a beautiful tranquil lake at the rear of the hotel where you can have a quiet, easy peaceful walk and spot the abundant fish and admire the various tall trees. There are small beaches too. The hotel rooms were really good with new fixtures and fittings. I couldn’t fault the rooms. The staff are very friendly and very helpful. Similarly the food and service were great. Despite having a bus full of tourists to feed, the staff seemed to manage the service efficiently. I think this hotel would be an excellent location as a base for exploring this outstanding region. For motorcyclists keen to park their machines in a safe area, the staff offered me the chance to park directly at the hotel entrance which was partially shrouded in decorative tall plants and within view of the night staff. I thank the hotel for making this kind, unrequested offer. It’s clear the hotel is prepared to go just that little bit further. In summary, I shall return to this hotel."

"Sehr schöne, familienfreundliche und moderne Unterkunft auf dem Land in ruhiger Lage. Super Gastgeber, ein schöner Garten und optimal, um die Gegend zu erkunden. Supermarkt und Bäcker im Nachbarort. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden wieder herkommen.Bettwäsche kostet nochmal extra oder muss man selbst mitbringen. Reinigung macht man selbst oder zahlt separat. Leider haben die Vormieter nicht so richtig gut sauber gemacht."

Dog friendly.Location was lovely and quiet. 3 minute drive to Argentat, a lovely market town. Our host / owner was very pleasant and helpful, despite us having to use Google translate!!We have booked again for next year."
