This hotel is NOT family friendly. This is a spa hotel in which people look at you (and your kids) as if you were doing something completely wrong. Most people are there to relax and your kids will be a burden.

This hotel needs a serious makeover. It's very tatty and not worth the money. Cleaning left a lot to be desired. Remote control covered in dust. Splashes on the toilet door and walls. The only positive was the evening meal was excellent

Fine place to stay in Saint-Paul-les-Dax.
I went to St. Paul les Dax to visit family. Overall the hotel looked pretty rough. The outside is very rundown and hallways looked out of a 1980s horror film. The rooms were just okay, but better than the outside. I had to work while I was there, thankfully the wifi was very strong. The restaurant was surprisingly great and the service was really good. The inside looks a bit like a hospital cafeteria, but the outside terrace was nice.

So Glad you guys were open. Coronavirus closing most places.. Yike no access to food - However totally understand given the extreme circumstances. Check in staff were fantastic and very welcoming. Perhaps it would have been handy to have some food/ drink ideas /options for guests to help themselves to in the evening. Luckily we had some bread and cheese in the car.

This was a nice place to sleep while traveling from Paris to Portugal/Spain. Not affordable for the "job," but I could have spent a good day at the hotel/spa, if I had the time...

Best Western Caliceo
From the pictures and knowing it was a Best Western Hotel We expected a lot more of the Hotel and the Spa (We travel a lot in Europe and have been in a lot of other Hotels and spa's in Turkey, Croatia, Greece,Spain, Portugal, Germany, Ireland,etc.). The Staff was Great !!! And the restaurant had some good food. But the rooms were small and cramped and a little dated for the price we paid. Which by any standard is high for what We received. And then after we checked in we found out you had to pay to use the swimming pool. Extra fees like the pool should be listed on the hotel profile. Overall We would not ever go back. There are too many other better places.

Un peu froid
Literie un peu dur a mon goût et 2matelas rapproché avec un trou au milieu. C’est un grand complexe hotelier + spa qui peut donner une ambiance un peu froide (très grande salle de restaurant pour le petit déjeuner et repas) Le service est très bien et l’environnement agréable.

Il est noté piscine avec chaise longue mais il n’est pas précisé que c’est payant l’accès 14€ pour deux heures cela induit en erreur. Cela devrait noté dans le détail car j’aurais choisi un autre hôtel. Tout est payant même la salle de sport

Hôtel agréable, bien tenu. Il serait souhaitable de trouver des salles de bain avec douche, pas facile "d'enjamber " la baignoire lorsqu'on est âgé. Remplacer la moquette du sol des chambres. Bien que bien entretenue. Un sol autre serait plus agréable.
