"The owner was nice but the accommodation was not clean enough and offered no privacy - with the large windows looking on to the owners house and compound where the their American Pit Bull Terrier has free range. Three nights booked but we arrived late and left early the next day."

"Accueil tres chaleureux des propriétaires et disponibilité. Le logement etait tout neuf, il est spacieux, tout équipé et adapté pour les PMR en famille! Gite tres bien placé dans la région (donc presence d’une route, qui ne s’entend que peu et ne nous a pas empeché de bien dormir! ) ; belle qualité de service pour un prix très correct. "Comment dire de mon séjour.......ben la chambre avait déjà été loué alors que j'avais réservé depuis 10 jours, donc j'ai rien a dire à part que merci après 600 kms je suis ravi de pas pouvoir me reposer. Merci beaucoup. Un peu de sérieux sur les réservations, le lieu je sais pas ,je n'y suis jamais entré. Mais l'accueil pas forcément courtois. Donc pour moi endroit a éviter. Voilà mon avis. Sûrement une mauvaise expérience a vous de juger. En tout cas je reviendrais pas ici , mais merci au rbnb...

"Had a wonderful week here in Perigord Vert. We enjoyed the local scenery, villages and attractions. Cathy was a wonderful host - thank you for the lovely food gifts and the beekeeping lesson! So interesting. Would recommend to larger groups and families - everything perfect and lots of space and lots of bathrooms and showers!"

"Brief overnight stay going from north to south of france. The private parking was nice, the pool was nice (for the kids, I didn't go down), the extra seating looked nice, but I didn't utilize it. The rooms, while weren't 5 star, were perfectly nice and clean. The only reason i gave it 4 stars for cleanliness was the carpet on the stairs. That should def be replaced. The owners were lovely and helpful. And the town turned out to be great as well."

"Andrew was there to great us along with Mike, the mill was perfect so clean, it was wonderful. Location was very central to most of the things that we did. We had an absolutely wonderful stay and would not hesitate to go back again. Thank you for a great experience. "

"I’ve stayed here twice, my only issue with this properly is the code/pin entry to the building & rooms, as sometimes they fail you can’t get in. I arrived at 2pm, but the desk is technically open at 4pm. There is a machine outside to check you in if the desk is closed. 1st booking was direct & received the codes. 2nd time via Expedia my booking ref number didn’t work & we nearly had to wait, was almost stuck. Luckily a guy from outside let us in with his code & called Sabrina. Whom opened the desk, we paid our taxes and she gave us our codes. The reception isn’t open 24/7. Sabrina & her team were very friendly, warm & made a huge difference as the first time there was a lady (April 2024) who was unfriendly and unhelpful… I paid for a late check out but was told on my last day, you can’t have it as the hotel is full. No refund of the extra fee. Her favourite word was NO! I’m not a fan of the code/pin entry system because, the first time the codes failed (I booked 3 rooms) I couldn’t even get back into the hotel. Luckily a guest came back and held the door open. I would have been stuck outside it was around 9pm. The codes can also fail on the bedrooms, if you enter quickly after a short period of time, you just have to wait for a bit and re-enter and it should work. Location is great for me, rooms are basic, pillows are average, bed is comfortable. Shower pressure is very good. Parking is free which is amazing. All of this is reflected in the price."
