"Receptionless check in was a bit strange, and ended up with me having to pay for an included breakfast, but that was all resolved by the receptionist at breakfast"

"Piece, quiet and relaxed. Immaculate house and gardens with great pool. Everything that could be needed was in the house. No noisy neighbours or busy roads. Walking distance to the river creuse and waterfalls. Marc the owner was at the end of the phone if needed and messaged a couple of time to make sure everything was fine and was there to meet us and show us the layout on arrival. Could not fault."

"Great location for where we wanted to explore. In the evening we were able to stroll into the town for dinner. Lovely location and a very well kept place with everything we could have asked for. "

"The location of the hotel (at the end of the motorway) is perfect. It was incredibly clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. It has very limited facilities eg no gym or relaxation area. Breakfast was limited for our UK palette, eg the only egg option was boiled and you had to do it yourself, so it was not worth (in my view), the £13 pp additional charge. There were also no options for evening dining on site and as our stay included a Sunday and everywhere was closed it caused us a problem."

"We stayed at this hotel June 2022 and decided to stay there again whilst travelling in this area in May 2023. Once again the location was perfect (just off the auto-route), the staff were as friendly and helpful as ever, the restaurant presenting local menu choices as well as regular fare, the swimming pool for relaxation (although we didn’t use it due to cooler weather) and plenty of free parking. This hotel is a little gem - comfortable and well-placed. There is even a McDonalds and petrol station next to the hotel. We will return there next time we are passing that way. "
