Nice but not exceptional

We were excited to stay in St. Tropez and found this hotel fairly quickly even though our GPS had malfunctioned. We checked in and were pleasantly surprised that they had upgraded us to a suite. The rooms were funky and cool, great shower and bath with Bvlgari products. The 10m shuttle into town was convenient to get back and forth. The staff was wonderful and friendly and spoke perfect English if you do not speak any French, We however were very surprised that a martini at the pool was 19euros and was weak to say the least. We also paid 25e each for the breakfast which had few choices. We were asked if we wanted eggs, which we assumed were included. When our bill arrived they charged us another 10e for the eggs. 30e breakfast is just not worth it no matter what they offer. You are better off staying in St. Maxine which is what we should have done. More bang for you buck and its a ferry boat ride away from town. We are from NYC and do not even pay those prices there.

Fantastic boutique hotel, very luxurious!

Pros: Location - good for eating out and shopping Pool area - clean and relaxing Room - clean and modern
Cons: Food - lack of choice and breakfast buffet not replenished/fresh
Location: Hotel runs free shuttle to town or beach. In the town there are many restaurants, designer shops and other amenities eg supermarket etc
Overall a lovely hotel with fantastic rooms and facilities however there is not much choice of food and is further than a walk from the town (the shuttle made up for that though!). Room The room was clean and modern with excellent facilities. The shower was powerful and the bed was very comfortable with a choice of pillows available to choose from (soft, firm, memory foam etc). Pool The pool area is also very clean and modern. There was never a lack of sunbeds which you often find on summer holidays. The only thing I would say is that when children run around the pool area, the decking made it sound like there was a stampede and no staff (or parents!!) asked the children to stop running. Food There isn't a lot of choice on the dinner menu and is quite overpriced for the quality of the food. We only ate in the hotel for dinner and breakfast once and decided to take the shuttle into the town on the other days to eat in the restaurants there. Location Although the hotel is too far to walk into the town, the hotel run a free shuttle bus to the town or beach (running from 8.30am til 10-11.30pm depending on the day of the week) which saved us a small fortune in taxi fares! There is not a shortage of restaurants (ranging from very reasonable to rather pricey) and designer shops in the town. The scenery along the harbour is very beautiful, especially the yachts! Upon checking out we had been charged for car parking for two days which was strange as we hadn't even had a hire car!

Beautiful Boutique Hotel but no value

Pros: The pool and its surrounding area
The property is outstanding but not unique to justify a very expensive stay. The staff was very courteous, friendly and made their outmost. Our room, #35, was cumbersome, very small, and in general not comfortable. The WiFi was on and off. The pool is great and the breakfast was nice as well. Overall, the value is just not there.

Deilig og avslappende opphold

Dyrt hotell, men som er vel verdt pengene da fasilitetene og rommet står til forventningene. Veldig behagelige senger, med egen putemeny!, samt rengjøring og bytte av håndklær om ettermiddagen også, om ønskelig. Hotellet har enkel og god frokost, og en deilig hage med basseng og solsenger som innbyr til ro og avslapping. Rolig og veldig behagelig opphold uten bekymringer for noe, da servicen er fantastisk. Hotellets avstand til by og strand var ingen stress da hotellet har bil med sjåfør som henter og bringer deg til begge steder helt gratis. Saint-Tropez er generelt dyrt så regn med å bruke en del penger her. Ingen plass for de som reiser på lavbudsjett!

Far from the city

Dear Traveller, We are sorry we did not meet your expectations. We are situated on the quite side of St-Tropez, 2 km from the centre (5-10 min with our free shutle, 20 min walk). As for restaurant hours they are pretty standard (12-2.30 / 19-22) and we have a room (or pool) service available 24/7. Regards, Julien Brosset

Nice hotel with not-so-good service

Pros: Hotel set up and ambiance is very nice
Cons: Service performs inconsistant
Rooms are too small and quite noisy due to thin walls and loud service workers in the morning. Little details like coffee without milk, inconsistent table settings, wrong billings and car pickup from St. Tropez which can take 5 min. to 45 min. reveal the need for training for the young personnel. All in all, a nice hotel with upside potential, but still far away from other rivals such as Sezz just a few hundred meters away.
