Good location, pleasant stay
It is a great hotel, served our purpose well, to be the base for our trips in the Shonai area. Rooms are small but okay, the onsen is good and convenient, lots of great services like coin laundry or dryer. Very convenient location if you come by car. We had a great time.

A clean adn well kept hotel
A clean and well kept hotel. This hotel has two manmade onsen (one for men and one for women). It has a small relaxation corner with foot massager (coin operated) and massage chair (coin operated). Bed is almost as hard as Rich and Garden's. It is 30 min walk from the train station or 10 min car ride. Plenty of parking if you are driving. Not close to much. Overall a pleasant stay.

I think this is one of the best hotel I stayed while I was in japan. Everything was great and particularly I liked the large public bath facility, it was excellent! Hotel staff was so friendly and professional. I'd like to stay there again for sure if I visit Sakata again.

スタッフの方の対応が丁寧でした。 大浴場もあり、1日の疲れを取ることができます。寝つきも良くなります。 ただ、 一つだけ、交通の便が良くないです。酒田駅からタクシーで1,220円かかります。 歩くのにあまり慣れていない方と一緒に来る時は要検討。

チェックインの時間前に到着してしまいましたが、フロントの女性が心良く対応して貰えました。朝食会場の若い女性の挨拶も良かったです。ただ改善点とすれば施設Wi-Fiの電波が弱過ぎてあまり使えない。鳥海山も見れたけど晴れて欲しかったかな。thank you.SAKATA❤️
