Best nightlife in Salalah (although it's not so great) The extra bed smelled but the friendly staff changed it right away

Friendly Hotel , very close to the beachPosted Feb 20, 2016
Pros: The care taken to ensure everything was as good as it good be :)
Cons: Perhaps the choice of TV channels if needing an evening in :)
Location: ON the beach just on the outskirts of Salalah, plenty of interesting local history, eg the Frankinsence museum and the local plantations
Lovely hotel with excellent, friendly staff who are always eager to please. The rooms are spacious and well appointed and cleaned regularly with checks to make sure all is in order everyday. The gardens are well maintained and the restaurants offer an excellent choice of menu, The chefs are efficient as are the staff there. An excellent experience overall :)

Friendly staff, gorgeous beach!Posted Jan 1, 2016
We stayed there for ten days over Christmas and felt very looked after by all the different nice people working there. They were all very attentive and friendly and made everything they could to make us comfortable. A small paradise, lovely to come "home" to the hotel after the many excursions we made by rental car. Super!

Central beach hotelPosted Nov 1, 2015
Pros: The staff, the food and the room.
Cons: Renovations in spots, replacement of some stained furniture and better quality bathroom amenities.
Location: There are a number of full-day and half-day tours to the areas east and west of Salalah which are a must if you have the time during your stay.
This hotel is located near the city centre yet on a large beach. The staff are more than accommodating and the food is top rate. My room was comfortable, quiet and spacious. The downsides were that the view from the beach was that of the heavy machinery at the port nearby. In addition, there is a new hotel under construction next door which could be a little noisy if your room backs onto the site. The hotel is a bit tired in spots and could use a renovation. In general, I would recommend this hotel but if you're looking for true luxury, try the Rotana which is further down the coast.
