Hi last three days I was here. Bed is not comfortable. They give old blanket. No fan here. Toilets lock not working. Lots of problems here.

Having to go through several looked doors made it feel unsafe in case of a fire. Very noisy. Could hear the other customers talk, cough/being sick, sounds of music and TV, drilling and banging at 7.30am. The man at the reception, despite not being able to speak any English tried his best to explain where my room was and how to unlock the front door after 9pm. The area appeared to be nice, however, didn’t have time to explore. It was cheap. For someone not too fussy it might be alright.

Great location at this no-frills guesthouse
Great location, affordable place, reception is open during extended business hours, staff is accommodating, area around the guesthouse is fantastic, lots of options for good, groceries, public transportation.

The building and accesories are in bad conditions Carpets dirties, broken, cortains broken, electrical instalation expoused, the door on bedroom close but how it was in bad conditions, the light of outside enter.

Bad experience
Old and neglected building, dirty bedding, the hardest and oldest mattress I’ve ever slept on. The hot water is slow and takes ages to warm up. Do not recommend it to anyone really bad experience.

The staff were lovely and friendly. The bed was a little hard and had a plastic sheet under the fitted sheet, which meant the fitted sheet would slide off. However, lots of pillows! Big comfy ones. My room was a little cold, because although the window was shut, it wasn't airtight. But there was an extra blanket in the wardrobe, so that kept me warm when sleeping. Also would not be an issue in the summer. The shower took a long time to warm up in the evening, but was fine once I gave it some time. The place was very clean. Overall, it was cheap and cheerful, and certainly worth the price. I would stay again happily, as while there were some comfort issues, there were ways around them.

It’s very normal place to sleep and deal outside with what is of interest for you. Not having WiFi in the room is not something pleasant...

the staff were nice. However, most of time all TV, phone, and internet service was down. You don't have internet in your room. You need to go to the common room the use the internet.

Good quality accommodation for good price
We stayed for 5 nights, our room was clean and very nice. Not too spacious and no view but nice given the price. The bed was small for 2 people and not very comfortable. The walls are very thin so you can hear everything going on in the hall but the staff was very nice and helpful. Overall i can recommend the hotel if you plan to just sleep in the room and spend the day outside exploring.

It look more like a dump, roaches running around and shady people. A woman making noices from hersexual encounter.HATED IT. How could possibly anyone.booked me in room like that. A total disgrace

September stay at the Residencial Marisela
I stayer at the Hotel for eight days I found it to be very basic, but clean and although there were many other guests I found it to be quiet, the staff were friendly and very helpful, I had free use of a safe deposit box. Check out time was 12 noon. The hotel stored my luggage free of charge until I collected that evening and organised a taxi to take me to the airport.

Cheap budget hotel, placed in quiet street next to main street leading to old centre of Lisbon Hotel for people who don't expect luxury and don't want to pay a lot of for room. I would give 2.5nstars on 5

Close to all see sights in Lisbon.
Good Value for your money, if you are not picky! Missed a Refrigerator to put some drinks. But No complains. Hotel is in the hearth of the city.

Cheap and you feel it
We had to change our plans during a trip in Portugal and we needed a room just for one night. We chose the cheapest solution and we got what we paid for: a tiny dark room in an old structure. A couple of issues: we had problems with the water (we were able to get only the cold one) and we were asked to wait for an hour during the check-in (we arrived at 6 pm) to have the room arranged. Anyway, the price is very low.

This was worse than a hostel
I usually stay at hostels so was expecting similar quality but the room/bed was terrible. I had to sleep with a towel underneath me at night due to basically sleeping on some sort of plastic cover. Also no air flow or fans. Additionally wifi is only available downstairs in a common room.

You get what you pay for
The hotel is affordable and classified as cheap.. Hence, you can't expect too much from that price.. The location of the hotel is near to the city and metro station

The "hotel" is really a pension without breakfast. Location is decent with 2 other nicer hotels nearby with happy hours. This one is pretty shabby, cluttered, and cold. Internet access is only by modem and charged. I would not return unless money was very low!

What a nightmare
I would NOT recommend this hotel to anyone. There was no hot water, the cold water required shut off at the bypass valve. There was no elevator, luggage was pulled up in a rope. They did not clean the rooms properly, the debris that was dropped on the floor remained untouched for days. The light was so dim that I could not read anything in the evenings.
