“The hotel is very new and is located a short walk from everything. There is a Starbucks right downstairs, and one of the few restaurants that keep the kitchen open (Neighborhood Tavern) after 10 is across the street.
The only complaints I have is the parking lot is not visible from the building and the front desk is only staffed from 9 to 6. They have a very easy-to-use phone access method for getting into the building and your room. But I can see how this would not be as easy for older, less……
“A lovely hotel would stay again. So charming a very well decorated. The walls are from the 18th century’s so you can hear traffic. We had no issue with it at all. There was a French press in the room which was lovely. The issue was no actual coffee to put in it
The pulllout bed was sloped. Probably better to put it on the floor.
I would recommend otherwise”
“The room was great- exactly as described. The gentleman owner was kind - lived on the premises and spent a lot of our stay mowing the lawn and working in the gardens. Would be a bit uncomfortable for femme people traveling alone, but a good set up for people looking for conversation or company. ”
“From the moment we pulled into the parking lot, we noticed how well kept it looked. They had some construction going on in one area, but it did not impact anything in regard to our stay. The space was nice and clean. We stayed in a double queen room and my only "complaint" if you'd call it that was there were enough towels for our group of 4, but only 1 hand towel and 2 washcloth's. Seemed a little strange, but nothing we weren't able to navigate and ask for more.
The thermostat was locked……
