Glad we ignored bad reviews!

Pros: For an economy hotel, it was great!
Cons: No TV guide, only issue we had!
Obviously we stayed in a "renovated" room (don't know if they are all done). Check in was easy, our room was right above the office very near elevator. It was very clean. No carpet so we felt comfortable letting our little "crawler" down on the floor - which seemed quite clean. Everything was top notch for the price we paid! Our car was parked right outside our room so no worries there. The motel is close to many restaurants and near freeway entrance. (Sorry, no continental breakfast - which was ok with us). We bought coffee to go the at the restaurant where we had dinner. Popped it in the fridge in the room. Then, the next morning, we just heated it up in the microwave - perfect! We did get a room on the "street" side, so highway noise was not an issue. Overall, I'd definitely stay there again.

The hotel advertised they had a Kitcheneete. They had a stove and had a microwave but they didn't have any pots, pans, dishes or anything else. They supplied no soap at all, and when checking in they told us we have to bring the towels to the front desk. If there was any stains or damage, they would charge us. The room was small, the refrigerater when we arrived was unplugged, and we plugged it in, but it didn't help us with our food as it takes a long time to cool down the refrigerator. I went to speak with the Owner as we had stayed there before and he said the original hotel had been sold and it was his. He also said we wouldn't get a refund. Hotels.com offered us $100.00 and charged us for the rest. In the advertisement it says you can pay at the hotel when you get there, but we wanted to make sure it was all taken care of before. I am VERY DISAPPOINTED IN THE HOTEL AS THEY DON'T DELIVER WHAT THEY SAY THEY CAN AND HOTEL.COM DID NOT GIVE US THE FUNDS WE WOULDN'T USED. WE WENT TO ANOTHER HOTEL, AND IT WAS TRULY AMAZING, FREE BREAKFAST, INCREDIBLE STAFF, SOAP, IRON, HAIR DRYER, AND THEY DIDN'T OVERSELL WHAT THEY HAD. I WILL NEVER USE HOTEL.COM OR THIS HOTEL AGAIN.

We are so sorry for your experience with our establishment but we do want to just clarify a few matters, the pots and pans and dishes can be requested from the Front desk area where we keep them clean at all times. It is the policy of the hotel that should you want new towels you may bring your old and used towels to the front desk and it will be replaced. A couple of years back this property was owned by another Hotel chain, and it was in a very sorry condition, and now that it has been renovated most of our valued guests actually appreciate the way it is now, and they are certainly the ones we truly value. Please thank the registered guest for us who actually paid for your room, hopefully it was her that got the credit that Hotels.com gave. Best wishes to you...
