Fine for price but pictures are deceiving

Pros: Price and the bed was comfortable.
Cons: Redecorate, add more lighting, get smarter staff.
Location: This is wine country and though you aren't very close to wineries, you can reach many within a 30-minute drive.
This location was at the Southern end of McMinnville. It had remodeling going in so we had to enter from a side entrance. The front doors were closed off for the construction. The breakfast room was also storage for some of their equipment. All they had was toast, cereal, and hard boiled eggs. The last day, the desk clerk gave me directions to Portland airport which sent me further South. After 20 minutes, I realized I was going SW so I stopped to get better directions. Needless to say, it added 40 minutes to my trip. The motel is fine for the price but I would not recommend it to my friends. For the same money, I would AirBNB it.

This hotel is a dump

The lobby was trashed, the staff was unfriendly, the lock on our door was broken. Expedia needs to take this hotel off their website!!!

Pros: Location to Linfield College
Cons: Better guest service.
Disappointing. Construction going on. Not enough sheets or towels for number of guests. Needed to call multiple times to get them.

Pleasant but not exciting. A lot of noise from, I think, the shower next door. Quite otherwise.

Hotel in a nice and quiet spot, close to downtown.

We should have received a discount because things were torn a part and in disarray due to the fact that they are remodeling. The pool and hot tub were not available and that was upsetting, as it didn't say that when I booked the room. The staff are often taking breaks leaving a sign that says that 'they will be back shortly." When I tried to checkout, I saw the same sign that I saw when I was there for a day. They were at the front from time to time, but just not that accessible. In all fairness maybe they were on a lunch I don't know. The room itself was great, and very comfortable as well as very clean so we appreciated that. They also let us check-in early too which was nice because we were in town for a funeral. It will be a very nice hotel once it's completely remodeled, but the way it appears right now I do feel as though I should have received a discount. Especially since there was no pool or hot tub that could be used either. The other thing that upset me was that after they charged me for my stay, that they also charged a deposit. A deposit is charged before you check-in, so why did they charge me a $100 deposit 2 days after I checked out? They had also been paid so to charge a deposit at this point is rediculous. I had to call them and ask them to remove the charge, after 2 days it fell off. I have no issues with holding a deposit, but the way they did it was rediculous. But honestly it was a decent place and room and employees were nice.

A. Hall, I do apologize that you we charged twice for the deposit and I will be investigating why this occurred to remedy it from ever happening again. I will also personally make sure all sites reflect our current renovation situation.

Pros: location
Cons: potentially will be better after the construction improvements?
this hotel was fine for this location but this particular stay was worse than my others here because of the amount of construction and the lack of help by one particular front desk lady who was not very helpful

Pros: The hotel is clean and the staff friendly. The room still has old CRT television in an old cabinet from which you can watch between your toes.
Cons: New, high mounted TV.
The "continental" breakfast was lacking. The only cooked food was hard-cooked eggs. There was a severe lack of liquids available; black coffee, ice water or milk for your choice of 3 cold cereals. Hot food is not necessary, but is nice if not plastic, but a better choice of breads, cereal, fruit and beverages would be nice.
