Black mold in bathroom, room needs maintenance. Noisy, people being loud at all hours of the night with no recourse. Extremely rude front desk agent at check in. Had an ID policy for all guests that wasn't posted.
Multiple people tried opening my door throughout the night. Did not feel safe. Woken up by the front desk at 8am asking me “why are you here?” “No one is suppose to be in this room.” Unorganized management. Extremely dissatisfied.

My only issue is that between 9:45 and 10 am the cleaners come knocking on your door fully expecting you gone. I'd stay again but was a jerk to them the second time it happened and told the clerk it's incredibly disrespectful when check out time is 11am. I got there at 1130-1145 pm and didn't get to sleep until probably 1 or 2.
P.s. I usually always leave by 10:30 anyways and today left at 10am 5 minutes after they bothered me for an hour of what I paid for at 75 dollars a night but really about 12 hours.

We didn’t realize we would be in so late after a football game. Office was receptive, made us feel special and not a problem. Grab bars in shower very helpful, clean and two usb ports on either side of the bed!

When arriving to the room there was insects and dust in a couple places and garbage under the bed. The sink stopper didn’t work so the water didn’t drain until the plug was removed and there were no batteries in the tv remote which was very sticky and dirty. One of the beds had grit down at the foot, only one wash cloth was provided and no tissues were provided.

I usually stay at Hotel6 because they are pet friendly. Some are better than others. This hotel is one of the better ones. Friendly front desk staff. Both Gloria and Al were very nice. Housekeeping was also friendly and happy to clean my room. Usually you can’t get them to clean your room at all!
Upon check out, I must have left my dome light on in my car and the battery was dead. Al came to my rescue to get my car jumped.
I’d definitely use this hotel again.

The room smelt very strongly of clorox. Door had a good size gap from the bottom and door. Window in room (facing out to walkway) didnt close all the way nor did the bathroom window. Other guest were really loud and because of the lack of seal for windows and door it sounded like the people were in the room with me. I checked out just a few hours of being there. I just felt very unsafe.

It’s a motel and it’s low price. My expectations weren’t high, but it could’ve been better. I think they’ve done what they can with the property for the most part. However the location is horrible as you hear loud traffic all night long. You also hear every door open and close, every person walking by and every voice outside. Having no carpet is probably good for cleanliness but it makes everything louder. It also feels cold and unwelcoming. Placed a chair in front of the door.
Staff was nice and helpful. I think cleaning staff does a good job with what they’re working with.

I gave 4 out 5 because the staff was very helpful and the rooms were newly renovated. However, getting door hinges that didn't sound like the Haunted Mansion and showers that have hot AND cold water mixed would've made the experience 5 out of 5.screeh

When we reached Hotel around 9:30PM and During checkin process we got to know Hotel was overbooked and due to which room was not able to allocate to us. My 5 years old daughter who was anxiously asking when she can sleep as she was too tired that day. This was so frustrating for us where i was checking other possibilities. Somehow i was able to connect with Expedia and got that reservation canceled. Im waiting for refund
Overall experience with Motel 6 (especially this Salem Motel 6) was pathetic and i would urge parents not to stay when you have small kid traveling with you.

The management and the manager were fine. The Cleaning was a normal clean. Some issues.
The management said that there was a problem with the pool chemicals, they were not correct, we could not use the pool. The motel had to wait for the inspector to come back the following week. Later that day people we’re in the pool and apparently the pool was reserved.
Cleaning Chemicals were way too strong. This problem actually made our allergies act up and we had to leave the motel. The owners were great and refunded the money for the three hours we were there. Found other motel using the same chemicals, awe didn’t seem to have any problem with it allergies at the next motel. The strength of the chemicals was the problem.
We left an item at the motel. my husband didn’t want to go right back and get it. They did not call us or put it aside. They just threw it away so when I did try to go pick it up, it was gone. They knew how I was still in town and they had my contact information. I think they could’ve at least called, And held item for a few days.
Overall for a cheap hotel/motel I think it was normal and the staff was friendly.

Pros: friendly staff, safe rooms, free coffee.
Cons: strong smell of scented bleach upon arrival, pool out of service, inconvenient location, noisy during the night, uncomfortable bed.
Verdict: I would be reluctant to return to this motel even at an economy price.

The reception staff were very friendly. The room was comfortable and well decorated.
The only, minor, problem I had was that the nearby road noise was quite noisy in the evening. This was exacerbated by gaps around the door, which didn't seem to fit the frame very well.
