Bit of road noise, elevator was a bit jerky, for our purposes, location was perfect. (Early Toys R us Christmas shopping)

Old building

Location: Not sure didn't stay too long
Looks nice outside but when u get in to the rooms there's an old carpet smell. The rooms are clean. We were unable to regulate the water in the shower, it was really hot. Breakfast not part of the package. You buy coffee through a vending machine. Most of the staff was hospitable for the most part.

The hotel and the restaurant inside the hotel were nice. Watched the Cub game and ate. The stay was nice.

Pros: Nice large room and the free "classic" breakfast was wonderful!
Cons: There wasn't anything that we didn't like. We enjoyed every aspect.

Pros: Food in the downstairs restaurant is convenient and pretty good.
Cons: Pillows were small and lumpy. Room was noisy late at night.
Location: Close to I-5

Great stay!

Pros: Clean, friendly staff, great restaurant, comfortable beds and room
The room was very comfortable. The beds were super soft and the whole hotel was very clean. For what we paid for the room I was concerned because it was relatively cheap but I was pleasantly surprised. We will stay there again if we go through Salem.

Slept amazing

Pros: The beds were amazing. The bathroom was huge and the room service was pretty decent. (Wings were overcooked) Plus my 5 year old loved the pool.
Cons: There didn't seem to be very many carts for the luggage.
Location: We stayed in salem. They have Dutch bros near.👍We didnt really do a lot because we were on our way home from Disneyland.

Would not stay again.

Rated 3 star hotel but feels like 2 star. Hotel looked a little run down and dirty from the outside. The rooms heater had a burning smell. Ok for a one night stay.

Not what I expected

Thought this would be a higher class of hotel, but bathroom wasn't good. Tub didn't drain well and bath area looked worn down

Not up to Red Lion standards.

Pros: Really, not very much. I am in Salem 30+ nights a year and will not stay in the Red Lion again.
Cons: Everything. The front desk staff is indifferent to the hotel's service failings.
The internet was down all night and the hotel staff cannot help with the internet. You have to call their support line. The support line is very difficult to deal with. No internet until 9am the following day. The quality of the TV reception through their satellite connection was horrible. The restaurant was terrible and the service was worse. The hotel was fully booked, but one of the elevators was out of service the entire 4 days. The rooms were kept ok, but the common areas in the hotel are not. The walls and ceiling are paper thin and the staff have started admitting guests with dogs. I had a yapping dog a few rooms away, and the front desk staff were indifferent to the noise problem.
