Great Mid-Level Option

Posted Dec 28, 2016
Pros: The staff was very accomodating and helpful
Cons: Change out toilets to standard height Hot & Cold water was reversed at sink Clean behind TV cabinet - bottle tops and dust bunnies
Location: Excellent - right off highway shares same parking lot with several food and shopping options.
Staff was excellent. Breakfast was OK. I'd like to teach them how to make buscuits and gravy - theirs tasted like paste. Room was comfortable and neat. Bathroom featured child-height toilet - quite a challenge to any person over 5' 8". We stayed 5 days over Christmas and really just slept there while visiting family. Nice indoor pool and hot tub.

Great Price, Good ameneties.

Hotel was clean, bed was comfortable, pool and hottub were clean, and breakfast was great. Room and amenities were almost identical to the Holiday Inn next door, but half the price!

Room condition

Posted Nov 28, 2016
First room had not been cleaned. Second room was full of lady bugs and had cobwebs in one of the corners. The refrigerator froze our fruit. No breakfast in the mornings because did not have enough guests. Did tell us we could go across the parking lot and eat at the Holiday Express free breakfast. Creamer packets on the room were so old they broke in two like a stale piece of gum. I have stayed here several times in the past. ...but will not stay again.

Need pest control!

Posted Sep 4, 2016
Overall appearance of the room and corridors were ok, but dated. The room smelled terrible - even after a half bottle of Febreze. Additionally, we encountered 3 wolf spiders, 4 large daddy long legs, as well as numerous crickets and roly-polys. Completely unacceptable - especially at this price. Advised the front desk of the situation and they said they would pass it on to manager. Staff was friendly enough, but made no extra effort.

Easy access to highway but quiet.

Posted Aug 30, 2016
Staying on the South side was good because there was just an empty field there. The North faced another hotel so was probably almost as quiet as the South side. Seemed like a fairly new hotel. Facility was clean other than 2 live crickets in our room. A/C was already running which was nice. Breakfast was just OK, but fine for the cost. I could not figure out how to get the shower to work so had to wait until the morning to ask the hotel staff. Maybe some directions should be posted because I have never seen a faucet like that before. Overall, good value!

No frills but nice.

This is a comfortable place to stay...staff is friendly and the rooms were clean. The only problem was that the bathroom door didn't quite shut...probably because there is no extractor fan in there so the door is warped. When you just need a place to sleep and get a light breakfast, this is the place to go in McPherson.

The hotel was a good deal for the price.

The beds were comfortable, the room was a nice size with all the amenities. Toilet was small, holes in the shower and loose toilet paper holder were unfortunate
