Hotel needs a lot of help
Front desk was terrible morning person was sleeping at the desk. Back door security lock was broken anyone could walk in. This hotel needs new management and fast.

Basic hotel. It felt a little creepy. Room was clean and fine. It fit our need. Breakfast was minimal and we ate elsewhere.

Room smelled like cigarette smoke, there was dead bugs on the ground all throughout the hotel, we walked into our room and immediately walked back out due to the cigarette smoke smell being so bad, not sure how dirty the rest of the room was due to only getting one step into the doorway and walking back out, went to the front desk to let them know we wanted to cancel the room and that we could not stay the night there, one of the ladies behind the counter was helpful but the other wouldn’t even put the effort in to walk up the stairs to verify the condition of the room, worst hotel we have ever been to as far as cleanliness

The room was old didn’t have outlet(s) close to the bed. The shower head needed to be replaced. The bed head a loud streaky sound on any movement you made on the bed.

We checked in late, and was given a room that was already occupied. However, the gentleman, Jon, was very quick to remedy this situation and get us a different room. Upon checkout, Cynthia, the new manager, was very nice and apologized for the prior evening's mix up. hotel undergoing renovations and painting. at this time.

The door to our room was cracked. Unable to latch bolt at the top of the door properly due to missing/lose screws. Hot tub was out of service. Fire alarm malfunctioned in the middle of the night and it went off every hour. I tried calling the hotel directly before we checked in to let them know we were going to be late but never got through to the front desk. The continental breakfast was a joke. No variety. Just one cereal choice, a couple bagels, no juice

The check it was fast and easy. The room and really the whole place was clean, though could use a little TLC. I was too busy to get to the pool, that area looked clean as well, but the hot tub was not in service. The breakfast was just toast, bagel, muffin or cold cereal. It was certainly reasonable for the price. There were many work/construction type vehicles. It could get a bit loud in the hallway, but I could not hear anything from the next room. Felt safe and welcome. The room temp was easily controlled by the well functioning A/C - heater.

When we arrived, the front desk person was helping my mother with her non-working remote. They couldn’t find batteries. We waited quite awhile to check in as none of the other people behind the counter even acknowledged our presence. When we were finally helped, check-in was quick and she was friendly. There was a group of boys in and out behind the desk that smelled of marijauna and the hallways all smelled strongly. The boys were grabbing snacks from the breakfast area that was set up for the next day. I’m not sure if they were employees or just friends of the girl working behind the desk. Our room was dirty, and the tv didn’t work. We eventually discovered that the tv in our room and my mother’s were unplugged. The shower drain was slow leaving me in standing water above my ankles in a 10-minute shower. The room was loud, with no sound barrier between other room TVs and occupant activities at all hours of the night.

Okay place.
I could give this a bad review. However the staff at the property was going out of their way to fix the problems. Property needs some upgrades to the juice machine. Back door of property trash was piled up by the door. But once again staff was trying to help.

Overall, especially for the fair price of our stay, the McPherson Inn was fine. They had coffee and breakfast out all the time, which was nice!! The hot tub was full of water, but the jets didn't work. The heat/AC unit in our room has come loose from the wall, so while the heat did work great, there was cold air RUSHING in where the unit had separated from the wall/window. We had to stuff towels in it to stop the chill of the wind. But the beds were comfy, pillows were nice, and we really liked having that kind of bathroom where the toilet and shower are in one room and the sink is out in the main room. (Note: But our bathroom door didn't latch, which was a bit awkward!) Our room had a small coffee maker, a microwave, and a nice mini-fridge . . . all of which were added benefits!!

Hot tubd chipping paint and not working. Appears most of their clients areong term construction workers. Went to check out the hot tube,found it was not working, but wouldn't have used it if it was. There were 2 drunk construction workers eating pizza and littering the food and empty beer bottles all over any way. Then the roo. Was not clean and desk lady told me they do not have cleaning services on the weekend. I know it may sound as if I am just a complainer, but if you do not believe me, then by all means please go spend the night and find out for yourself.

The hallway was dirty with stained carpet but we assumed that the inside of the room would be better but we were very wrong. The uncarpeted floor looked as if it had not been mopped or swept. There was a soap wrapper in the bathtub and a opened half used bottle of shampoo. There was toothpaste splatter on the mirror by the sink. There was a layer of dust on the fridge, microwave and coffee pot which we didn’t use. There appeared to have been something spilled on the tv screen that was not cleaned off. There were no bath towels in the room and the ones we received after requesting them were a very dingy what used to be white. We stayed in the room for the night only because there appeared to be limited availability for rooms in town and after over 13 hours on the road we were too exhausted to drive around to find someplace else to stay…and the room was non-refundable. I wiped down the bathroom and sink area with disinfecting wipes. I have to say that this was the worst hotel experience I have ever had and have so far advised family coming to the area to make sure they don’t stay here.

Easy access. Close to restaurants and shopping. Doesn't have an elevator for the second floor, which for us is a problem with steps. But they did put us on the first floor at sign in. What we didn't like. The staff being able to bring young children to their job. Being woke up because of children being loud is the only downfall that occurred.

I reserved a room with a king size bed and got 2 queen instead. The staff decided to clean the hallways and do laundry off and on all night. Just as i fell asleep they would start to vacuum or bang around in the hall. The idea in staying at a hotel is to rest during a trip. I got very little rest along with a 6 yr old up with the noise. The gentleman that checked us in was very professional, the day people at check out not so much. Will be traveling in the area in January but will stay elsewhere. Definitely not worth $116.

The place is super rundown the food for breakfast half of it was expired the chick working the desk in the morning was the most unfriendly person and definitely could have cared less. The people in the room next to us fought all morning loudly at that. My daughter woke up with bites on her forehead and arms. Definitely will spend extra money next time and go to the Fairfield
