overnight stop on three day trip. one of the better places that we stayed on this trip. close to the interstate, but no traffic noise. breakfast was very good and had better selection of yogurt than most motels. very comfortable bed with bathroom that had tub to relax stiff muscles from 12 hours of driving. we were able to get caught up on e-mail and other information with the wi-fi that had very good speed.

Needs some work.Posted Aug 17, 2017
Pros: It's a Hampton. They have decent complementary breakfasts and decent rates.
Cons: Maintenance crew really needs to step it up notch. Get the A/C and TVs working reliably in every room -- not just the Expedia rooms.
Location: Check-out the Brookville Hotel just off I-70 near Abilene. Very cool place with lots of history and excellent home-style chicken dinners.
My hotel of preference is a Hampton Inn, but this one in Salina is not up to par. The A/C in our room was just barely moving the air. And the TV was inop. Since we were only staying one night it was no biggie, and we waited until the next day to mention it to the reception. She was polite and courteous and said they would soon be renovating the hotel. Next time I'm in Salina I will be trying a different hotel.
Great value stayPosted Aug 7, 2017 on Hotels
I was pleasantly pleased with the accomodations. The bed was comfy, rooms clean, breakfast was good value, nice location to highway and our interests. Will definitely stay there again.

Not right on HWY 70 but very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was great but very little seating. We had to take it up to our room. That was quite annoying since the food was cold by the time we got it to our room.

It was clean but a little dated. The location was good for amenities but a little noisy (road noise).

Passing through...Posted Aug 1, 2017 on Hotels
Good for one night of passing through...beds were a little hard for our tastes but the covers were heavy which we prefer so it evened out. Breakfast area was comfortable and had lots of seats for busier times.
