This hotel advertises that it is under new management. First, our room was not clean. There was debris under the bed, in the bathtub, and overall had a general feeling of uncleanliness. The room was supposed to be "non-smoking" but it was clear that either it was previously a smoking room or the policy had not been enforced. The room had been recently repainted, but the room itself wasn't painted very well with paint colors bleeding into each other and it looked very rushed. There was a vent in the bathroom that looked as if it had one time gone outside, and it was filled with dead bugs. Finally, the area is VERY sketchy. There is a nightclub and bar in the center of the property that isn't the nicest, and many people were loitering outside of it smoking, talking loudy, and at one point, a man and a woman got into a verbal fight that seemd like it might escalate into something. There were a TON of cars parked around the property with temp tags on them, and people kept coming in driving one car away, bringing another, and it just had a very unsafe feeling about. I traveled with my young son, and I was up and down most of the night just checking on my car and honestly, making sure we were safe. This is purportedly a Best Western, which is why I selected it, but it by far and away did not meet Best Western expectations of other properties I have stayed at. I would not recommend this place for a family, or a single woman.
