Best Decameron hotel, period. We had visited all Decameron Hotels and this one is hands down the best of them. Great pools, specially the one filled with ocean water. amazing dinning choices and drinks. Top notch entertainment, and the nightly show never disappointed. This hotel is the best for all of the above mentioned, but what makes the difference is the people that work there. We are in awe of the loveliness and friendliness of the staff. We found our place, the search is over. Thank you

The rooms were nice but the air conditioning units were bad it would get super hot in the room and the ac unit was leaking into the room.The food was bad.The people that work at the resort were so rude and when I would ask them something they would get attitude and the people trying to sell you packages to become a member they heard us speaking English they would try to harass us to buy it and would not take no for an answer.And the WIFI was terrible if you need an area to work or keep in contact with people do not stay there.The salt water pool was nice and the pools were okay.They also don’t let you reserve for things ahead of time.Also they don’t really speak English only a few people there spoke English so if you only speak English I don’t really recommend.

The check in is horrible! They sit you in a hot room to wait for your name to be called like the DMV, a lot of restrictions, I dont think the natural pool is cleaned or drained. Too expensive for the type of quality you get.

Not the best receiving, looks like check in was in the back door, check out at lobby ???? Not open beach to enjoy, too many rocks, cup for drinks too small, need to do reservation for every meal time doesnt make sense. Food was ok for the place

The rooms were clean and quiet, however dated. The staff were lovely. Lovely, the disco tech had an active scene in the evening. Food was good and multiple options available. Ability to drink the filtered water and drink using the ice cubes was a huge bonus as a Canadian. Plenty of options for drinks and activities should you choose.

The check-in process was about a half hour for us. You enter a ballroom in the expo building, give the name on your reservation, then sit and wait to be called to a check-in table. At the table, you get an overview of your stay, how meal reservations are done, given a map, details of any events happening during your stay and get your room key. You visit another table on the way out to make that night’s dinner reservation. I recommend reserving the rest of your meals at once by scanning the QR code. There are limited a la carte options so we were only able to reserve at the buffet. My party thought the food was decent, not five star but typical buffet quality. There were a lot of people when we visited so the food didn’t sit for long. The rooms aren’t super modern but spacious and ours was clean. The evening entertainment was fun. The pool gets busy between meals, and there is minimal shade in the middle of the day. The drinks weren’t bad, the ocean pool was fun but beware, it’s pretty slippery and waves can knock you around. Overall, it was comfortable and relaxing. We’d definitely visit again.

The staff are very rude. Every interaction we had with them was difficult because they were either unwilling to elaborate or explain things, whether in spanish or english. I will not be returning and will not recommend this resort to friends or family. The food was decent but could have been better. Giovaani, who works at the steakhouse, was the only pleasant interaction we had with any staff member.

The views were amazing! They only give you one key for the room- that needs to improve. Food and drinks were okay but food needs somehow improvement in flavor. Only one meal from my 6 meals tasted great. The other ones need it a lot of flavor.

The resort is nice but definitely need to be remodeled. The buffet food was okay and it was not easy to reserve a restaurant bc you have to be up extra early like 6am or 7am to reserve your time for food everyday. I went with my partner and they couldn’t reserve a two seat for us because it was “full” so we ate the same thing the entire stay. The events and ambience is very nice and they make your experience fun. I would recommend for two days thats all if you want a all inclusive in El Salvador.

Check in is a hustle, showers dont have a full door and makes a mess when taking a shower and they dont allow you to eat at the restaurants unless you argue with them. They only want you to eat at the buffet since its way cheaper for the hotel. Out of 3 nights I was only able to dinne at one of the restaurants and only because i demanded it.

We went and they didn’t tell us there would be no liquor due to the elections. Lack of communication. The snack bar that isn’t open all day only had dry hamburger and hot dogs and gross fries. You have to make reservations for all dinners which is ridiculous people have to line up at 7am each day and there is a long line up. Only good thing is location and pool area.

The check in sucked! Had to wait 30 mins to get check in and then had to wait one hour and a half to get our keys to the room. We got our room close to 5pm! Check in is very old schooled, need improvements. Staff is not knowledgeable about resort. No elevators! I traveled from Boston MA and had to bring four suitcases up the stairs! My dad is older and had so much pain going up and down the stairs. The food is good. Besides that the bars were nice, the club was entertaining, the pools are fun as well. Property definitely needs some improvements, especially because there are no elevators. Staff needs proper training on knowledge of resort.

Stayed 3 night with a big family group. We rented 4 rooms total. The buffets were average, pretty basic… for being all inclusive the breakfast was horrible including not having juices available. Coffee was on request and the staff seemed bothered or irritated when we asked for coffee. The price they charge it’s for a resort, however the food and all you can drink falls short for the price. I did not appreciate the flies on the food at the buffets. The reservations for dinner-food wise were ok. The day we got back from Decameron we got pretty sick from our stomachs and had to go to go see a doctor. We enjoyed the swimming pool and the front beach view we had and that was it! The rooms had AC but felt warm at times. Our beds were pretty old. First and last time we visit, there are other places to visit that may be worth the price with a normal beach access. Customer service needs to be trained on how to service their clientele specially because we traveled there from different countries. We did not appreciate some attitudes they showed! Parking was hard to find amd you have to walk a great deal back to your car!
