Front desk manager was not very friendly

I arrived there at 1:50 pm and the manager asked could she help me. I said my name and that I had a reservation. She snapped at me and said..check in is not tell 3pm and that they were busy last night and short handed and no rooms were ready. I said I realize that check in is at 3 but sometimes they allow a little earlier. She said with a mean tone come back at 2. I said it is almost two now. She looked at the clock and said oh well try 2:30 Or quarter of three. I left and came back around 3:10 and got my room. Needless to say when I got to my room and i immediately had to go use the restroom. I noticed at least a dozen or so died flees of some sort in the bath tub. I knew the room could not have just been cleaned because the rest of the room was spotless. I believe the front desk managers last name was Smith. Pure meanness and she could have spoken to me a little nicer.

I stayed here to get a good night's sleep the night before a very important exam. It was all great until I wa awakened at 6 am by construction outside my room! I spoke with the manager, asking why the evening guy had put me there. She acknowledged that there had been plenty of rooms away from the construction. She didn't know, and clearly didn't care why I had been placed in the construction zone. A simple apology would have gone a long way.

Need to wipe down everything not just do the bare minimum alarm click had gunk on it but overall an OK stay. Still had to let paper from last visitors

Basic clean room at a decent proce

It's a decent hotel. Furnishings are a bit dated, but not broken or non-functional. Beds were comfortable and clean. It's no-frills, but you aren't paying for frills either! I would use this hotel again.

It was just what we needed, at a reasonable price. There were some less-than-considerate late night people who could have been quieter.

It was mediocre. Not impressed at all. But didn't expect much being in Salisbury Md
