Charming B&B in a picture-perfect English villagePosted Oct 4, 2016 on Hotels
This was a bit off the beaten path, but well worth the effort to find it. Very charming and the host and hostess couldn't have been more helpful. It was a very enjoyable stay.

Quiet and beautifulPosted Sep 3, 2016 on Hotels
A little gem of a place - spotlessly clean and with a beautiful garden. We were warmly welcomed by Sue and on both days had a very enjoyable breakfast in the picture-perfect conservatory. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet break in the countryside.

Only stayed one night but was made very welcome. Room was clean and comfortable with essentials in the en-suite just in case. Lovely village (shame there's no pub but there is one in the next village) with places to walk after a day working. Would definitely stay again.

Wonderful B&BPosted May 29, 2014
Pros: It was more nicely decorated than any hotel. The area of the house had been added on specifically to be a B&B.
Cons: I found the water pressure very poor.
Location: The village of Bowerchalke, where this is located, is a very beautiful village.
This was very nicely decorated and was a pleasure to be at.

Lovely little village to stay, comfortable, great breakfast, the owner Sue went out of her way to make the stay comfortable.
Good Quality B&BPosted Oct 31, 2012 on Hotels
We stayed here for a one night stay after a friends party nearby and found it a good quality B&B. Our host Sue was very welcoming and made an excellent breakfast on Sunday morning, enough to keep us going for the long drive home. The guest accommodation (2 rooms) are at the back of the house with a private breakfast room and conservatory which was a very comfortable place to sit with a cuppa. The room itself was quite small but well equipped with most of the things a B&B room should have (plenty of clothes hangers, coat hooks for outdoor coats, hair dryer, plenty of tea & coffee, a choice of soft or firm pillows). Just a few slight niggles include the bathroom is quite small, the sink is very small, no soap (only handwash and shower gel) and the bed is very firm, OK if you are used to it but a bit too firm for us. Location is 10 mins drive from Salisbury along some narrow roads. So, an enjoyable stay but just a shame about the firm bed.

Pros: Clean and quiet
Cons: Must drive to find dinner
Location: Very rural with a beautiful garden and very nice owners
This B&B is a little out of the way but the owners are super and the accommodation is excellent.
