Nice pool access

Posted Oct 1, 2013
We did not get the room we booked. Instead were put into a smaller room with no bathtub, just a stand up shower. Lady at front was very apologetic and gave us a discount for the resterraunt.

Nice main building with motel round the back

Posted Sep 18, 2013
Pros: Pool looked very nice
Location: On the way from Vancouver to Banff
Hotel has two buildings - a nice main building with a motel with external access doors behind it. The two buildings are long and thin with a swimming pool between them that is about 10 foot wide and 100 foot long, leading into a lagoon pool at the end. Looks very good, but does mean that all the rooms are looking into each other. There is a second jaccussi on the first floor of the motel building but this was closed when we were there. Main pool is only open 9am to 9pm, which makes it difficult to use if you are just spending one night Room was OK, with shower rather than bath. Seemed expensive for what it was. Very nice restaurant that served an excellent, if expensive, breakfast

Great pool and gardens

Posted Aug 22, 2013
Pros: Pool and gardens
Cons: Rooms need upgraded!
Location: Hotel is close to canoe beach and downtown Salmon Arm
The pool and gardens are very nice! Also the food is wonderful . The rooms however are dingy and desperately need an upgrade. The service was pretty basic, they were in no way rude but also not welcoming either .

Relaxing and Romantic.

Posted Aug 20, 2013
Pros: The room (large king size bed, fireplace, jacuzzi tub and dual head shower) and the fabulous restaurant.
Cons: The rooms have no balconies.
Location: The hotel is up the hill from the downtown core of Salmon Arm so it makes walking a chore. It's a 20 minute walk but a cab ride is faster & cheap.
The room was fabulous (spacious, beautiful and relaxing). The hotel is quiet and clean with a fantastic pool area. The only issue is the proximity to downtown Salmon Arm. (20 minute walk or an $8 cab ride). Breakfast at the restaurant (Table 24) was seriously the best breakfast I've had in a long time and the prices are great. The whole experience was romantic and a great getaway for couples.

Pool was the best part of this hotel!

Posted Aug 16, 2013
If it wasn't for the Pool this hotel would have nothing going for it! Our room still had dog food on the floor in some corners. The rug didn't look very clean. When we went for Breakfast they were out of most things and service was very slow. They really needed to clean the hot tub outside!! The Pool was the only thing that we enjoyed the most, as it is bigger then most hotel pools with room to swim and enjoy the summer weather - which was our main purpose for booking this hotel.

Cool Pool. Otherwise, meh.

Posted Aug 6, 2013
hotel was ok. booked because of cool pool and it was as advertised. Nice. however...... temp control in room was finicky - we could get it too cold or too hot but couldn't get in between it had one of those wall mounted automatic "air fresheners/perfumers" that sprays into the room every 15 min or so. Yuck. We couldn't get the TV to work

Fantastic pool

Posted Jul 12, 2013
Pros: Great location ahead to Banff and fantastic swimming pool for realax
Location: Hong Kong
We drived from Vancouver to Banff staying overnight for stop-over between Vancouver and Banff. Reason for choosing this hotel was convient for driving ahead to Banff. It neared the drive highway-5. Without special expection on hotel but it gave us a big surprise. The swimming pool is just the doorstep jumping to the pool. Fantastic.
