Great value for the price.

Good location. Across from Tim Hortons and McDonalds and next door to a gas station (Shell). The room was large and included a fridge which I appreciated. The bed was comfortable. The free breakfast was good value and better than many places. It included a waffle maker which was a nice touch.

Clean and OK nothing fancy

Posted Sep 6, 2017
Pros: Location and the nice little area on the grass to sit outside.
The rooms were clean and quiet considering they are on the main road. Air-conditioning was appreciated and it is close to everything. Beds were comfy. The breakfast was a little more than a basic Continental Breakfast but there was no fruit. There is a washer and dryer if you need to do laundry. You can drive to the lake but in August the lake was pretty soupy on this side. For convenience it was good and OK is the best way for me to sum up the experience.

Would be nicer if there was a pool. Not worth $170 a night at the current state. Salmon arm is a hot city, would have been nice to have a swim.

They really should clean the walls

Posted Aug 23, 2017
Pros: it was close to highway
Cons: spend some money on a complete deep clean of the rooms and do some spot checking to ensure it is kept up.
Location: movie theatre was nice
The room was a 2 star room ... from the 90s. There are better 2 star hotels that I have stayed in. The walls were dirty. It looked some one or something exploded in there at one point. There were mysterious stains on the walls and the lampshades. And only 2 pillows in the room for 2 people.

Run down and room smelled really bad tried opening window for fresh air and there was a horse trailer parked right outside it so it was either smell horse poo or stinky hotel room. Bathroom was not very clean and the soap they give you is like a sliver, barely enough for one person to use. 'breakfast buffet' consisted of watered down juice, Costco muffins cut into 6 placed in a dirty container, and a make your own waffle station which was covered in crusty batter.

We were in Salmon Arm for the Roots and Blues Fest

Posted Aug 23, 2017
Pros: quietness
Cons: Not much, I felt it was sufficent for anybody to have
Location: Roots and Blues festival
Very good place to stay. Coffee and waffles in the am, and ice machine were all very helpful.

Dated hotel and because of this it was over priced

Posted Aug 22, 2017
Cons: Update and cleaner
We reserved and paid for a queen room and received a room with a double bed. The breakfast was waffles, coffee and yogurt. Hotel needs updated and could be cleaner. Over priced for what you received.

An adequate hotel that needs maintenance

Posted Aug 22, 2017
Pros: Convenient location
Cons: Clean the windows, fix things that don't work and plug in things that should be plugged in. Service the rooms for multiple night guests.
Location: Beside Trans Canada Highway adjacent to a service station with a convenience store.
The room was OK but the windows were filthy, the TV didn't work and the sink faucet was a joke. Lamps and clock were unplugged which is just an inconvenience but disappointing. The second night saw the towels from the first night removed and not replaced. A dog alone in a room barked from time to time until about 1 AM Our daughter stayed in another room and her beds were not made after the first night. Unheard of! There is an obvious staffing problem.
