Heart's Desire Tiny House with a View

If you are curious about what it would be like to live in a tiny house, this is your opportunity to check it out!

The tiny house is located on a very private rural setting with incredible views of the Mira and Salmon River. Many opportunities to photograph or enjoy wildlife in their natural surroundings. You can also sit back, relax and enjoy an evening fire over looking the Mira and Salmon River.

This year we are offering fishing rods and tackle and two paddle boards that guests can use to explore the Mira River.

Heart's desire is perfect for a romantic getaway or enjoy with couple of friends and clear your mind.

Heart's Desire is 20 minutes to downtown Sydney, 1 mile from Two Rivers Wildlife Park, 25 minutes from Ben Eoin Ski Hill and The Lakes Golf Course and 25 minutes from the Fortress of Louisbourg. It's a great location to explore Cape Breton!

Very clean, well equipped. Super cute little tiny house! We had a blast and Kendra was very quick to respond. Unfortunately it was raining during our stay so we didn’t get to enjoy the awesome yard/view at the fire pit.

Very cute tiny house
The property was lovely and clean, and as advertised. Great view, and well-equipped. Pull-out couch is a trundle bed style, so wouldn’t fit for larger people, but our teens (5 ft and 5’5”) were fine. Hot water is limited, but manageable. Very quiet setting with eagles flying around! Road in is rough, and location is over an hour from west side of island, but extremely quiet and beautiful for a get-away. Kendra was great and communicated very well!

It was such a unique place being a Tiny House! Everything was in excellent condition and so comfortable. The only thing that could detract from that was the hot water in the shower - or lack thereof. Otherwise so very enjoyable!

Cape Breton vacation
My husband and I had a wonderful stay at this tiny house. It didn't seem tiny for two people. Due to how remote it was we were able to see lots of stars while sitting at the fire. We loved it! Kendra was a great host and responded to my questions very quickly. I would note that you have to climb up a ladder to get to and from bed. This was not a problem for us but if you aren't as mobile it could be challenging. I highly recommend this place especially if you want to a nice, quiet, relaxing vacation.

Beautiful little place overlooking a river. Easy access and parking. Fire pit with plenty of wood. Short drive to the wildlife park. Has all you need to to accommodate your cooking needs. For those who enjoy a cozy fire and star gazing, this is a perfect place for you.

Wonderful Tiny House Stay in Cape Breton
My wife and I enjoyed a wonderful 4-day stretch at this property in Cape Breton. We were initially a bit skeptical as we had never stayed in a tiny house before. In the end, we found it perfectly fit our needs (and then some)! The home itself is very well organized/appointed and the surrounding property was incredible. We spent several nights enjoying the backyard bonfire with a view of the Salmon River as the harvest moon rose over the hills. Some other reviews have commented that the wifi and cell reception was somewhat spotty at the property, but we did not find this to be a problem. The host was very communicative and helpful in ensuring that all our needs were met during our stay. We have already recommended this property to several of our friends and would absolutely stay here again next time we're in Cape Breton.
