Drug dealer paradise!Posted Nov 22, 2015
We went through three different rooms before settling on the original handicapped room because the room was dirty but after inspecting two other rooms the original room was actually cleaner if possible to the other two rooms. Lots of locals hang out at this hotel to either hook up or do drugs there were lots of people in the hotel the washer and dryer were broken the equipment in the fitness room was broken our car was a hit-and-run in the parking lot and everything was coming down the shower bars toilet paper holders everything was and this repa lots of locals hang out at this hotel to either hook up or do drugs there were lots of people in the hotel the washer and dryer were broken the equipment in the fitness room was broken our car was a hit-and-run in the parking lot and everything was coming down the shower bars toilet paper holders everything was in disrepair. We pulled up the sheets on the mattress pad and there was a steel moldy food item stuck under my side of the bed with loose change I insisted on changing the sheets myself because the maid was absolutely incapable I purchased Clorox wipes and wiped the whole bathroom down, the shower it leaked all over the floor so it was a swimming pool every time we showered and the front desk give us crap because we kept needing more towels when we would shower.

Easy to get toPosted Nov 14, 2015
The hotel was clean and quiet. Staff was friendly. The breakfast was acceptable but the staff got behind on keeping the food supplies full enough so guest could go through without interruption. Ran out of waffle mix, but was fixed fairly quickly. I would stay again and probably will next time I visit Salt Lake City. Price was very reasonable.

You pay for what you get.Posted Nov 13, 2015
Pros: Courteous staff
Cons: Ensure everything works properly.
Location: The area has gone down over the years. There are a lot of food restaurants to choose from.
Our check-in was fast and courteous. I was there for five nights. The first night I turned on the heat in 32 degree weather and the heater didn't work. I tried to call the front desk, but the phone wasn't working either. I went to the front desk and was told I could not change rooms until the next morning. The woman was very nice and gave me two blankets. The next morning, the girl at the front desk told me I would need to wait until check-out and she would call me around 11:00. Around 1:30 I called the hotel for an update. The girl who helped me answered the phone. It immediate sounded like she forgot about me. She quickly resesearched and assigned me another room. I came back to the hotel and moved my bags. The next few nights were pleasant. Well, except for one day housekeeping forgot our room. The check-out experience was great. The man was very professional and courteous. He signed me up for their rewards program. All and all it was an ok stay. I will stay again as it is very convenient. They just need to tighten up and make sure things work properly.

ComfortablePosted Nov 7, 2015
I stayed here one night on business. Check in lady was nice, room was comfortable. Breakfast was decent with hot food (eggs but only boiled ones) and options more than just coffee and bagels.

Pros: Will not stay there again.
Wi Fi was weak and difficult to log on to. Remote for TV was not working properly. Bed Spread had holes in it. No pop machine. Went to front desk for a can of pop, and was faced with 2 choices. Both of which are brands that I rarely if ever choose. As for things to do around this hotel, I will not blame the city for the lack of attractions within walking distance of the hotel. The hotel is located in a rather industrial area of the city. This hotel contracts out to foreign tourists ( I could tell by the bus loads of them in the parking lot). I am certain that this hotel would be fine for many people, but for me, no , its not. I am on the road quite a bit, and the hotel I stay at becomes my home away from home. Certain basic creature comforts are more than a luxury to me. Wi Fi for one is a non negotiable feature. It has to work or I cant do my job.

Never AgainPosted Oct 6, 2015
I will never stay at that hotel rude disrespectful. When my Fiance was going to propose that night and was out smoking they told him to go back to your room. We are not in school dont have curfews they have no right to tell us to go back to our room. So if you want to be controlled stay here but its past your bed time at 8 pm

OverbookedPosted Oct 6, 2015
When we arrived, we were told that our room had been given to a walk-in. I'm aware that hotels overbook themselves, but I felt assured that because I have PAID two weeks before hand that we would be guaranteed our room. No elevator to second floor.

Deceptively appealing but dissapointingPosted Sep 19, 2015
Pros: The breakfast was decent, but they could have used real juice.
Cons: Almost everything.
Location: It's near Salt Lake City.
The hotel had no elevator, so we carried our luggage up two flights of stairs. The hallways were not air conditioned and it was hot. The pool which we wanted to cool down in was green with algae. The room was stocked for one person and their was two of us.
