The beds are terrible. You can hear everything that's going on in the room above you. It smells. It was the worse hotel I've ever stayed at.

I had paid for my 3 day stay via credit card.

I had paid for my 3 day stay in advance via credit card. I arrived and tried checking in and the receptionist asked for a security deposit? I asked for a refund since they did not trust a paid customer I certainly did not trust them. Took 3 phone calls to get my refund.

Wrong size bed

I paid and reserved a king size bed and when we checked in they said she didn't have a king available and it seemed smaller than a queen ... I swear it was a full .. but she didn't discount the price of the room

Sucks

Staff ignorant and don't treat people nice at all they don't do there job all they do is complain and don't seem to keep anything they find

It does just fine

Pros: Kitchenette, cleanliness, friendly staff on weekdays, smoke free, just enough parking
Cons: Buy some new food for the breakfast cart. The muffins are nasty and the granola bars must be ancient!
Location: Adjacent to Maverik Center. Next door to cracker barrel. Within walking distance of Hale Center Theater.
Not sure where people's complaints about this hotel come from. I've stayed here on several occasions and have never seen a bug problem. The barking from pets left in the rooms does get annoying, but I'm not sure the hotel can do much about that, and the continental breakfast is the most pathetic I've ever witnessed, but the rooms have a kitchenette, and they will provide you dishes and a cooking set to make your own food. The location is alright if you have a car or take a cab. It's about two blocks from the bus and the bus system on the west side sucks anyway. I have no complaints with this stay and we'll probably stay here again next month when I come to town again.

Ok for one night

Room and badroom were clean. Extended Stay is not what it used to be: they only provide you towels, nothing else - no pots and pans, no dishes, no cups, no glasses, no silverware, not even a hairdryer. Enything that you need you have to ask at the front desk and you are not even given all that you ask for and what you get is of the cheapest quality . Not worth it.

Convient area but.....

Dirty bedding. Asked for extra sheets and those were dirty, stained and looked as if they had been washed in only water with no soaps or detergents.

Dirty sheets, fowl smelling room, would not stay here ever again or any hotel associated with this chain.

Great location and price, but a bit rough

Location: You can quickly access any location in the Salt Lake Metro area. Highway 15 runs next to the building and many main roads pass close to ESA.
This place offers everything you need for an extended stay, but it's often near capacity: they may not have what you need, like kitchen utensils, breakfast coffee, certain towels... Our toilet didn't flush properly.
