Nice hotel close to downtown

Posted Sep 4, 2016
Pros: Had a rooftop patio with sweeping views of downtown and Salt Lake City valley, great breakfast options for guests, also the very EZ access to downtown
Location: Within 5-10 minutes of Univ of Utah, historic downtown residences, convention center, Temple Square & State Capitol.
We were very impressed with this hotel, from the friendliness of the staff to the overall cleanliness & spacious of common areas and the individual rooms. Our room was on the east end of the second floor and appeared to be specially designed to be wheelchair accessible - something we've never seen in other hotels. Although neither of us are disabled, we could appreciate the ADA features including counters and desks with enough clearance to slide a wheelchair under, lots of hand bars, extra wide doors, and a drop down seat in the shower. The entire suite was quite spacious, very clean and quiet, with generously sized dressers & furnishings. One of the best features of this hotel is its rooftop patio with its panoramic views of the Salt Lake City valley...it was a great place to have a late night cocktail! Other nice features of the hotels include its generous continental breakfast (with lots of hot food options), plenty of free parking, and super easy access to downtown.

Stores across the street are great.

Pros: I loved everything about this hotel.
Cons: No complaints.
Location: Dan's market across the street has a great deli if you want to pick something up and eat in the room or on the 3rd floor balcony.
Comfortable, clean and quiet. Wonderful stay. The breakfast bar was delicious with large variety of choices and it's open until 10 if you like to sleep in.

Great stay near Univ of Utah

Posted Jun 28, 2016 on Hotels
Attended a conference at the University of Utah. This hotel is reasonably close to the campus. Had parking on site, shared with other businesses, or a dedicated two story "parking garage". Staff was very friendly. Breakfast area was very nice and food was very good with good variety of cold and hot-cooked items. On the third floor there was a nice overlook patio area with tables, patio chairs, and the view was very nice of the city and the surrounding hills. Hotel was very conveniently close to the freeway, but no too close. The hotel is on a main street, but as long as you leave through the back exits, it was not too hard to go south or north on this main road (Foothill). Would definitely stay here again.

just a quick stopover. Clean, quiet, very comfortable bed, big bathroom. Several restaurants to choose from. Easy on and off the interstate. I would definitely recommend it

Very nice room

We usually stay at Residence Inn downtown but I may stay here in the future. Good restaurant options next door and across the street. Near the U , Hogle Zoo a Natural History museum. Nice residential area. Warm cookies and nice modern decor. I will certainly consider here again.
