Hotel convenient to airport

Posted Aug 13, 2015
Pros: Room was clean
Cons: More staff at check in and definitely more customer oriented. Clear directions on parking procedures. Comply with request for valet parking.
Location: This hotel was just a place to stay for next day airport travel
Hotel front desk in a hurry. Refused to offer valet parking when asked. Not enough room in parking garage. Did not indicate the use of room key when parking. Dinner at the hotel also miserable. Service was spotty. No clear idea of who was assigned to our table. Had to send food back because an item was missing one 3 plates. Came back burned.

Great launch point for downtown SLC

Posted Aug 4, 2015
Very nice hotel centrally located downtown. Everything is extra so expect to spend some cash here. Parking is 15 bucks to so it yourself. I recommend paying an extra 3 bucks to valet. The pool and spa are fantastic, really help you wind down after a long day of whatever you do.

Pros: location and ;price
Cons: Inform guest at check in if assigned a handicapped accommodation room (no bathtub)
Location: walking distance from City Center shops and attractions
after a long drive from Portland the clean and convenient hospitality of Hilton was much appreciated. Location allowed me to get in easily to Downtown Center attractions for an evening walk and get out early on the road again.

Hotel was close to a lot of restaurants.

The hotel was vey clean and staff was very accommodating. The beds in the wheelchair access rooms are way too high for me to get on. For this reason I would never stay there again.

Pay extra for amenities

Posted Jul 26, 2015
The hotel was fine. But where other hotels provide free internet, free parking and free breakfast, here you will pay extra for all these items. I recommend staying across the street at Holiday Inn Express.

Really enjoyed my stay here. Centrally located.

Posted Jul 22, 2015
Pros: pool size, clean orderly rooms
Cons: PARKING!! I feel parking needs to be improved by not having a surprise $15 extra per day parking fees added to your daily stay.
I really enjoyed my stay here. I came to Salt Lake City to attend a concert only and did not really have any other business there so I stayed most of my time in the hotel which I found very comfortable. I was on the 8th floor with a good view. I liked the fact there was a nice size indoor swimming pool where I could do my lap swimming , a hot tub for relaxing , basic nice gym, and a patio where you could sit and relax. The room was clean spacious and comfortable beds.

Staycation

Posted Jul 5, 2015
Pros: Location is awesome.
Cons: The bathroom door needs to be fixed to close all the way.
Location: Hotel is right across from convention center. Also many bars, eats, and shopping to do. Walk about any where in downtown.
Hotel is great for the business traveler. Across from the convention center and near many places to eat, drink and shop. Our purpose was to have a room downtown so we didn't have to drive any where and it worked out great. Valet is steep at $18 a night. Rooms were nice but our bathroom door did not close all the way which is annoying if you need to go #2. They have a onsite concierge and a sundry place to buy anything you want.

Wonderful location; Comfortable

Posted Jun 30, 2015
Pros: Location, room upgrades. Elevators have always been efficient. Convenient parking beneath the hotel for self or valet parking.
Cons: Room had remote control devices on draperies, but these were not connected. Draperies were hard to pull. A/C was slow to cool room at night.
Location: Center of Salt Lake's vibrant downtown, half block from the Ballet/Opera, 2 1/2 blocks from Symphony.
We have stayed at this hotel when it was Sheraton, Red Lion, Doubletree; and Hilton. Location is perfect. The hotel has been renovated several times, and is well furnished and up to date. We shall continue staying here for shopping, opera, symphony, etc.
