SMELLY

Posted May 6, 2017
This hotel has a really bad odor, I don't think they've ever replaced their carpets. The carpets are really dark which hides any stains, however you can see the stains, even down the dark, dingy passage. The passage makes you feel like you're going into your confinement cell and about to be attacked by a cell mate from behind! A real dive

Would NOT recommend.

Posted Apr 24, 2017
Pros: Rooms were small, but clean.
Cons: See above.
We went swimming in their pool and hot tub. The chemicals in the hot tub were apparently so potent that they bleached my wife's swimsuit. She had a navy swimsuit and within 10 minutes it had become gray. At first we thought there was something with the lighting, but when we got back to our room we realized the chemicals had bleached it. We called the front desk and while they were apologetic they did nothing to compensate us for the destruction of the swimsuit (which cost $75). Also, the continental breakfast is very small (some bagels, muffins, coffee, juice) with little seating in dining area. One other note, the shower was broken in our room. We could not fill up the bath tub as the shower was stuck.

Hotel misrepresents their rooms

Posted Mar 28, 2017
Pros: The breakfast was fine and the girl who checked us out in the morning was nice.
Cons: They need to change their listing to truly represent what they are offering.
My three children and I stayed at this hotel one night of our Spring Break. We booked a room with 2 queen beds but when I went to check in I was told that they did not have any Queen beds and that their rooms only has double beds. I explained that the reservation specifically said two queen beds. The gentleman behind the counter then said that maybe next time I should call the hotel and verify what I was getting instead of just going off the listing. After finally agreeing that the room we checked in. The room that we got was clean but smelled awful. If I could have found another hotel in the area on short notice I would have moved. After we went to dinner the kids went to swim in their "indoor pool" This pool is actually in a shed sort of building that you have to go outside to get to. It was raining that night and so we walked through the rain to get to the pool. The hot tub was closed and looked nasty. but the pool was functioning. Trying to make the best if it we swam for a little while but there was so little light in the pool area that we left because it didn't feel safe. I will never stay at this hotel again.

Spa was down

Posted Mar 27, 2017
Pros: The guy at the front desk was very friendly upon check in
Cons: Let Guests know when something is not working! Also Hire trustworthy people that would actually turn in a wedding ring!!!!
Location: N/A
I chose this hotel for the pool and spa, I feel I should of been informed that the spa was not working! Also I left my wedding ring in the room and realized it later after check out, And they said it wasn't in the room....... I know for a fact it was................

Close to the slopes, clean friendly staff

Posted Mar 17, 2017
Pros: Convenient, quiet close to to slopes and main roads
Cons: Fix the hot tub
Stayed here before, will come again . I have skied in Utah for 20 years and have come to this hotel the last five years. This time I brought my son, son in law, two grandchildren and three friends. All liked the hotel but the hot tube as broken. We were told that parts were ordered.

Lots of dissapointments

Posted Mar 13, 2017
Pros: The location is about the only thing I liked about it.
Cons: See detailed experience.
Our main reason for choosing La Quinta was that we were looking forward to relaxing in the hot tub that was out of service. Our person that checked us in was super friendly to the customer before me telling him about restaurants in the area, about the pool, breakfast etc., but when I got to the counter only checked me in and told me how to get to my room. Going to our room on the second floor the carpets were very dirty and the hand rails were sticky. In the room there were stains on the comforter on one of the beds and the bathroom could have been cleaner. The coffee pot didn't work. and when we were checking out the person at the desk was trying to refuse to print me out a receipt.

Hotel right off I15

Spa never worked while we were there. You had to walk outside to get to the pool. The breakfast area was cramped. Staff was great
