No signage on the exterior of the hotel

Location: Two breweries within less than a mile of the hotel, Midvale Mining Cafe for breakfast
The only real negative I can say about my experience is that there was very minimal signage on the exterior of the hotel, it gave the hotel a bit of a sketchy vibe. Once inside that all went away, the lobby was nice and clean as was the room. Very convenient location for attending a concert at the USANA Ampitheater.

Close to freeway

Pros: Location central city area, comfortable bed and decent breakfast.
Cons: Attention to detail, pull chains on the lamps were broken, difficult to turn lights on and off. Door would not shut completely on its own, had to pull
Location: Close to freeway for travel to downtown and the canyons.
Overall a decent hotel. The only real issue we had was the door didn't close tight by itself, we would return to the room and the door would be ajar. Decent breakfast, friendly staff.

This hotel is dark and dingy.

In my room the air conditioner rattled loudly, the room smelled, the towel hooks on the back of the bathroom door we're falling off and the stopper on the bathtib was non-functional.

If you gotta stay somewhere . . .

I chose this hotel because it had reasonable rates, and was near my son's house. It is also near the Hwy 15 freeway, making it easy to get places. There is parking in the front, and is close to many places to eat. When I checked in people were polite, but there were no offers to help with my luggage or 2 bikes I had brought. My room was adequate size, but the air conditioner smelled moldy and there was hair left in the bath tub. When housekeeping cleaned my room, they forgot to empty the trash cans. The continental breakfast was fair, but one morning they had run out of coffee by 9am. When I checked out they forgot to confirm my credit card so I had to call them back a couple of days later to confirm payment. If you have to stay somewhere the Park Inn will do, but don't expect any real luxuries, just a room.

Pros: The upgraded room was a nice touch.
Cons: Full attention to detail in each and every room; Communication and staff training.
Location: The availability of restaurants, stores, and other amenities was a definite plus.
Upon arrival, the room I had paid for had not been cleaned whatsoever. I was reassigned an upgraded room, however it did not have any sheets for the hide-a-bed, which I specifically needed for my group. The hide-a-bed itself was in mediocre condition and it collapsed in the night. Unfortunately, the front desk clerk I met when we arrived was not in any way prepared for our check in, nor could she resolve any of our issues. She had to wait several minutes for the Manager on duty, who promptly resolved our initial issues when she arrived. All in all, communication seemed the greatest lack to our stay.

old and smelly

Pros: It was close to the area we needed to be in. Unfortunately the road was under construction and we had to drive miles out of our way.
Cons: Everything!
The room we requested had been given to someone else. The room we received smelled like it had sewage backed up in it. The bathroom had large unpainted patched holes and the cover to the cooler kept falling off in the night. We went to breakfast in the morning but we couldn't get anywhere near the area because of a large tour group. We will never stay there again.

Very excellent value for the price!

This hotel recently became a Radisson. The staff is still learning, but they are very friendly. The rooms are clean and the beds are very comfortable. We enjoyed the outdoor pool and hot tub. The hot tub was kind of warm and not hot, but that was okay. The breakfast included eggs, sausage, cereal, waffles, donuts, juice, coffee and other things. I think this hotel is a steal for the price.

Very nice hotel

The staff is friendly and the room was clean and comfortable. I would've rated it higher, but the air conditioner was tricky and the tp holder in the bathroom was broken. The tp kept falling into the trash can. Other than that, a very comfortable stay. I will return.

Horrible experience for price

After checking out and continuing our travel plans we noticed co fusing extra charges that were clearly mistakenly made. It took two days to reach someone at radison corporate to finally get thru to a human being at Park Inn as they don't answer their phones. After two dsys, the young manager' explanation was that the phones were down yet they never called us when corporate contacted them to validate that their phones worked and relayed our concerns about over charges. No one called us back even after reaching corpirate. Very young snippy manager that has little people skills during our phone call regarding the added expenses and refund. When we finally reached her she stated " oh yeah! We have remedied the phone problem!" No appology for being unreachable and i had to ask 3 times for help and explanation about overcharges. We were traveling and had to spend to much time and energy getting through to someone at Park inn. Then when we reached them they were more than rude and lacked common courtesy. We will never be back here!
