Great location to airport

Posted May 23, 2017
We stayed only one night as we had an early morning flight. Room was fine. Restaurant and lobby under remodel but restaurant staff were fabulous and made the most out of the situation. Food was actually good. Thanks for a good stay staff from the restaurant!

Pros: Very little, if anything.
Cons: Just about everything!
Location: It was convenient enough to SLC.
It was way messed up aand cost way more than it was originally booked for!

Construction zone

Posted May 15, 2017
Pros: Food, service and location
Cons: construction zone
Location: close to airport and downtown
The hotel actually did a good job considering there was no lobby or official restaurant. The lobby and restaurant were bing remodeled and there are a couple of weeks left before they move in. The restaurant eating area was moved to a guest room. Under the circumstances they staff did a great job. The restaurant food was great. Once the construction is finished this would be a very desirable place to stay.

Under new construction.

Posted May 15, 2017
Pros: Happy hour and TV selection.
Cons: Staff attentiveness and professionalism. WiFi is spotty.
Location: Close to the airport and few restaurants. You have to drive a ways for good food or nightlife.
I usually stay at this hotel when I'm flying in/out of SLC or in town for business and want to be near downtown (but not pay downtown prices). However, this time there were a lot of problems. After 2 days of no air conditioning and repeated requests for a new room (or for the AC to be fixed), I was finally given a new room with great air conditioning. They fixed my problem, but it took way too long.

It was under construction and no one told me.

I had to go into the hotel via the parking garage. The front lobby was under construction. I waited 45 minutes for a shuttle van and it was just not what I paid for.

Close to the airport

Posted May 12, 2017
Pros: rooms were comfortable
We were not told about the ongoing renovations at the hotel. The entrance lobby was closed, therefore we had to walk to the end of the hotel to carry our baggage up a flight of stairs to get to the elevator. That's usually not a big deal, but we both had 2 large bags and 1 small bag to lug up the stairs. The construction was loud during the day, preventing a daytime nap.

A blast from the past & no lobby! No amenities!

Posted May 11, 2017
Pros: The closeness to the airport. The shower was great. The shower products were lovely, the soap was very nice.
Cons: When completely renovated, top to bottom, it will be a nice hotel. Now, despite the construction, the rooms feel like 1970. Needs more elevators.
Location: You can get to downtown Salt Lake City in a jiffy - -very convenient to airport and downtown.
We chose this hotel for convenience to the airport, assuming a normal hotel, some kind of breakfast provided, shuttle to airport, the usual . . . . .we arrived to find the most discombobulated situation - NO lobby, the check-in was in the space between the outer and inner doors to the lobby - which was completely torn apart, men laying tile, banging, carpenters everywhere. I know they need to get this done - and it will be beautiful when it is finished. But our complaint is we were NOT warned of this situation before hand, and we paid a pricey amount for a very disappointing experience. Expedia should be told if the hotel is under renovation. We were directed to a first floor room and when we tried to access that room with all our bags in tow, the elevator would not stop at that floor (because of the renovation). We had to call from the 2nd floor through some Radisson 800# which was a lot of wasted time, and then we waited and waited for someone to reassign us to a room on the 3rd floor, and we were tired, and very dissatisfied , with the speed of the reassignment. We waited for a super long time. Once we got to the room, it was just ok. The duvet was so wrinkled and lumpy that we were wondering if someone had slept there and they just tucked the sheets in for us! I'm sure we could have done better at Motel 6!! For half the price.....UGH...

Nice hotel, under construction

Posted May 9, 2017
Pros: The rooms were very nice and clean. It was close to the facility where my daughter was playing volleyball.
This was a nice hotel my only problem was it is under construction and we had to take a lot of stairs normally this would not be a problem but because I have a pulled hamstring it was quite inconvenient.

Our stay was very good with the exception of the unexpected remodeling of the lobby. The staff was awesome!

Radisson 1 nighter

Posted May 7, 2017
I stayed at the Salt Lake City Airport Radisson the night of May 1, 2017. The remodel of the hotel lobby came as somewhat of a surprise. The check-in process was delayed by the limited room available to the employees, and by the fact of the room key encoder was not functioning. However, the employees did a bang up job of assisting guests and solved the problems I encountered in a reasonable time.
