Good location close to highways

Posted Oct 12, 2017
Pros: Location, safe in room, comfortable.
Cons: Some of the hotel staff were a bit immature. When I was checking in, the two girls were chatting with each other rather than helping me.
Location: Not far from Temple Square and conveniently near highways.
The hotel provides a decent breakfast with longer operating hours than most places I've stayed. In the room, the pillows were very uncomfortable (small and fat). Otherwise, everything was clean and comfortable. There was a safe in the room, which is always a plus.

Hotel is showing its age and needs repairs to room

Posted Oct 12, 2017
Pros: Great staff
Cons: repair aging and worn rooms
While comfortable and good size, my room showed significant signs of wear that were not repaired - in the bathroom tub/shower, plus loose faucet handle loose that was quickly repaired after I complained but right after repair, it loosened again, thin towels. In the room itself - torn/pealing wall paper, ill-fitting door, worn rug.

Pros: convenient to relatives
Cons: customer service
I hung up my towels as I was staying 3 nights and still received fresh towels when they are trying to conserve water Does not make sense to me. Staff left used cups by sink and bedside not thorough cleaning. Front desk clerk was rattled and asked me 3 times if I had a vehicle. Veterans were checking in and oiled up 6 deep by the time some one was called to assist the rattled clerk. Due to a mix up in my reservation rattled clerk was to extend my stay to include Saturday, but no I get a call at my family reunion saying I needed to come check out. Got it resolved but it was frustrating to say the least when the rattled clerk said he would check me out Friday and recheck me in on Saturday and out on Sunday.

It's an overall nice hotel. Nothing fancy but has the basics plus small fitness center and pool. Breakfast is decent. The only thing that I did not like was the carpet. It was old and had a lot of stains. It needs to be changed ASAP!

I was fooled by the Ramada name

Posted Sep 28, 2017
We assumed that we couldn't go wrong since the hotel has Ramada's name on it. This one doesn't measure up. The place should be completely gutted and remodeled, or closed down, or Ramada should get their name off of it. You can tell by the smell this is no place to stay!

We arrived to check in, they told us no rooms were available. As we were waiting for our room, we watched a dozen people check in and get their rooms. Staffing was also very inattentive, each time we would try to ask if our room was ready, we would stand there waiting for staff to address us (even if no one else was around). We had to wait 40 minutes until the room was ready.

Close to son

Room smelled so strongly of smoke that it was hard to be there. Long black hair in the sink and tub.
