Nice downtown location

Posted Jun 26, 2017
Had extremely loud room next to us. After 2 calls to the front desk, both after 11 pm, no one addressed the problem. At 12:30 am, I went and addressed the issue myself. Something a customer shouldn't have to do, especially after being told twice that they would take care of it. Will not stay here again.

Convenient and accommodating

Posted Jun 2, 2017
The Marriott is right next-door to the convention center and conveniently down the street from the light rail station. It's very easy to get to from the airport ($2.5 on the light rail) and in walking distance of several bars and restaurants. Looking closely with in the room you can always find things to be unimpressed with but depending on your room you could have a perfect view of the mountains and a greatly accommodating staff. If you are coming from out of state just be sure to have your drivers license because he can't going to any establishment serving alcohol (restaurants included) without it - even if you don't intend to drink!

It was expensive! Shower was freezing. No continental breakfast, had to pay for wifi usage. Desk attendants were grumpy. Facility itself was very nice.

downtown

Pros: It's pretty and clean. Love the Starbucks.
It is nice to be able to walk to the Vivint Center for a concert; however, the bar leaves a lot to be desired (I suppose that's a Utah problem all around) as their service was terrible and the appetizers were horrible. Also, it's not a good deal on the price of a nice room if you have to pay $30 for parking and $10 for internet.

Ok hotel central location

Posted Mar 14, 2017
We must have been put by girls cheerleading wing and across the hall kids were running up and down the halls and banging doors until 2 in the morning. This noise had to have kept at least 20 rooms awake each night but hotel did nothing. Got very little sleep during 3 night stay. Beds were like sleeping on boards and A/C would not keep the room cool
