The location is walkable to the arts centres and some bars and restaurants however the local train is right outside so it is loud. It's also very dated, and the breakfast is questionable quality even though it is not included. It was a few dried up sandwiches that were $4 each. The parking garage is right next door which is great however if you're parked on the top floor like we were forced to, there is no elevator to get down, only stairs. And when you have luggage that is challenging.
I also found the prominent photo of a religious mormon person in the lobby unusual for a hotel. The staff were all lovely and kind and definitely help make the place a better experience.
