At the tip top. Below, Midway/Heber, to the left, Park City/Deer Valley, and behind me, Brighton and Big Cottonwood Canyon. From my house to here, 4500 vertical feet of climbing on my bike, the majority taking place in the last 7-miles. A killer but beautiful ride. The view makes it worth it. There are two things I love most... A unique outdoor experience and great food. Yurt at Solitude Mountain Resort has managed to combine both. Yes I said yurt, have you ever heard of one? No? Go ahead, Google it... I'll wait. Now that I know I have your attention. The dinner experience at Yurt Solitude is like no other. To start, you'll hike or snowshoe up into the mountainside to get to the yurt. The starting point of your hike is pictured here to the right. Once there, a first class staff of chefs and wait staff prepare and serve a maximum of twenty-five diners an amazing five course meal. If you want wine with your dinner your welcome to bring it with you; otherwise, non-alcoholic beverages are served. If you love unique travel/dinning experiences as much as I do and want to experience this place for yourself, and I highly suggest you do, reservations are required. I promise, you won't be disappointed. #nomnomnom #snow
Utah's greatest snow on earth, for locals, is found to be no better than at Brighton Ski resort. Nothing like being in the mountains. Enjoying Jupiter Bowl on a bluebird day in Utah with the powder all to ourselves.

#snowtrove Solitude Mountain quickly became my favorite resort in the Salt Lake City/Park City area of Utah.
The views are spectacular, and the crowd thinner.
http://rvluckyorwhat.com/about/ All the way up little cotton wood canyon beautiful hike in the wild flowers For a refreshing summer dip, or a cool spot to watch fall turn to winter. The further lake is not worth climbing, coz it’s less beautiful. My little 4 yr old leading the charge My first ski trip in Utah #Utah in late ApriL 2016
