Stay near Airport

Pros: Comfortable, good size room, and clean
Cons: Fix the room numbering and directions to the rooms
Location: Gas station close by
The hotel was quite good, except that the room numbering and directions were really confusing. It took us ages to find our room when we first arrived. It was not obvious why the numbering needed to be so confusing.

ok for a night near the airport

Cons: Bathroom needed serious help.
Room was decent, bed was decent, but bathroom was not great. It had paint peeling on wall, shower head was dirty, shower curtain was dirty and found ants on the floor in the morning. I expected much better from a Hilton hotel.

Carpet is wet at foot of bed but don’t want complain just put a towel, have an early flight

A Study in Contrasts

Pros: Friendly, competent staff.
Cons: Oblivious, incompetent staff and those things that go 'Click-click' in the night.
Location: The courtesy shuttle to SLC.
Very Welcoming: Warm and genuine best describes my reception so I didn’t object when informed that because I booked through Expedia, Hilton Honor’s points would not be awarded. I guess they didn’t like the terrific rate this Internet service managed to wrangle on my behalf. Spacious, Clean and (for the most part) Comfortable: While bedroom time was devoted mostly to sleep, that sleep was interrupted only by the occasional loud 'click, click' of the HVAC system turning on and then almost immediately turning off. Maintenance folks should look into those sounds signaling spastic mechanical malfunction. Variety in the Bathing Experience: Take note that the shower head is easily adjustable to two types of copious streams, neither of which are particularly satisfying or invigorating. Subsequent, tub-time aquatic impressions of other folks should make interesting and hopefully informed reporting for all. Pendulum Dining: My waitress, a middle age woman from Costa Rica, could not have been more gracious, and competent in her duties and eagerness to please. Yet that strange young lady someone placed at the Maître D' podium ignore my fumbling through the wine list and food menus until effectively convincing me her preoccupying mission at that location was more important than any duty to seat guests. Thank goodness for that waitress who not only saved but went on to create a most pleasant DoubleTree dining experience.

Great location next to the airport

Pros: Great service, quick room service, great quality.
No real airport noise, easy to get in and out. No food nearby, only the hotel room service - which was very good and super fast. Drawback was that my room door had a large gap at the bottom so when it was closed, I could see about a two inch gap of light coming in under the door - remedied by laying a folded up towel across the threshold inside the door - but could not remedy the side of the door (hinge side) that also had a 1/2 inch or so gap that let light in.

Nice place to stay when traveling. We didn't check in until 1am and maid was knocking on our door at 8! Other than that all was fine.

Terrible front desk lady.

everything was as to be exspected. I stayed one night, then paid for another. The lady at the front desk was a total jerk.ended up getting told to leave and that my reservation would be canceled, which they didn't cancel. No care for the customers.

Close to airport.

Kimberly was very sweet and helped me with early check in and possible later check out. Being stranded and having a hotel and staff kind enough to help you is a huge stress reliever.

Ok for the price

We were 1st put in a room in the high rise section that was not clean. I am in a walking boot and requested a closer room and they did accommodate. The hotel fron desk was very nice. There is no seal around the door and you could see light. We could hear dogs barking, everyone in the hall and elevators as late 9pm-12am and as eaely as 5am. Outside looks horribly run down but inside isnt as bad.
