At the corner of the main plaza in Salta, this is a great location. The hotel is very nice, was comfortable, and the staff was great. Would stay again and recommend this hotel.

Great location in the heart of the city - very close to other hotels, walkable to great restaurants, churches, stores. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and I felt extremely safe even traveling solo for my first time!

This is a traditional and prestigious hotel, I have stayed there many times over the years. But it needs updating in the furnishings and the bath room

This old, traditional hotel, perfectly located on the main square, manages to keep its charm an good level of service over the years (I have stayed there 35 years ago). If not for the rather limited breakfast, I would give it a 10.

It is an hotel but very well kept. It has a nice pool with a yard to sit and relax. Parking inside the hotel which is great. The location is excellent right on the center of the City in front of the main plaza. The hotel has a nice restaurant, a bit pricey but convenient.

Mediocre service, low quality breakfast
The room was more basic than I expected. The breakfast left a lot to be desired. Nescafé, low quality products, no fresh fruit. Staff seemed indifferent. Overall, a mediocre hotel experience.

The Hotel sits on the corner of the Main Square/ Plaza and within easy walking distance of an assortment of restaurants. The hotel has seen renovations yet has retained its unique style and presence of woodwork. Rooms face either the street or the rear, the latter overlooking your typical courtyard of Spanish style. Adjacent to this is a nice pool, refreshing and clean on a hot day. The Hotels Restaurant offers some very nice dishes. Their breakfast spread rivals any others we have been at in both Argentina and Chile. Pleasant and helpful staff. Would definitely choose this Hotel on any return.

Good hotel & location. Make sure about your room.
You must request a room NOT facing the street, or you will be up all night. We got our room changed, but unfortunately a previous guest smoke in the room. Again insist on non smoking, and verify it is actually not smelling of smoke. Location is ideal. The travel agency Nordic is very close to the hotel and highly recommended.

Hotel Salta - great stay!
Best value of my trip! I loved the view from my room. The room was comfortable and clean. The staff were nice. The area is safe and in the best location. I would stay here again.

Spanish Architecture & Cathedral Views!
This is a beautiful hotel set right on the main plaza in Salta. My room has a beautiful view of the cathedral & surrounding mountains, & their breakfast buffet is one of the best I’ve had in Argentina!

Basic room, excellent location
The room was basic, very clean. It is an old hotel, in an excellent location, parking on premises. The only reason I do not give 5 stars is because the water in the shower was not hot enough.

Ik had een mail gestuurd met het verzoek om een kamer a/d achterkant v/h hotel maar bij aankomst kreeg ik een kamer aan de voorzijde straatkant (veel lawaai) de receptioniste heeft toe heel vriendelijk alsnig een kamer aan de achterzijde geregeld. Suggestie: jammer dat het ontbijt “pas” om 06.30 kan worden genuttigd. De vele toertjes vertrekken rond die tijd namelijk. Mijn suggestie om een box of een doggiebag te maken bleek niet mogelijk…jammer!
