Nice place BUT be ware during check-in

Posted Dec 13, 2017
Pros: Bed and pillows are the best
Cons: Check-in experience must definitely be improved. Too cold, impersonal and distant .
Location: Very convenient to be close to everything.
Four the third consecutive time in this hotel, they tried to assign me a smoking room at check-in , even though it was very clear on the reservation that I had requested a non-smoking room. This seems to be a standard procedure now. So be ware at check-in and make sure that you get the room and rate you booked. The rooms are very comfortable, although it is clear that they are in a saving costs campaign .

Hampton needs better maintenance

Clean and comfortable beds but something always not working right. This time one elevator not working make for long waits and shower head dysfunctional.

Inexpensively adequate

Posted Apr 25, 2017
Cons: Buy new linens. Get a new cook for the restaurant.
We asked for a king size bed and got a queen, and a room for the physically handicapped, which we hadn't asked for. The bedsheets were past their useful life and the AC noisy. The complimentary breakfast was filling, but no waffle maker. The restaurant next door, which is part of the hotel, was dreadful. All in all OK for the price, though next time I go through Saltillo I might try the Holiday Inn, right behind this hotel.

Common spot for automotive professionals visiting Saltillo for business, close proximity to FCA Saltillo Engine Plant, and GM Ramos, about 35 min from Saltillo Assembly Plant and Daimler Freightliner plant

Nice, comfortable, predictable

Posted Jan 12, 2017
Pros: I still consider the Hampton Inn beds the best beds there are. Plus terrific pillows make for wonderful night's sleep to recharge batteries.
Cons: Elevator's speed.
Location: Although there is a bear by Restaurant, there are not that many alternatives to dine.
Hampton Inn Saltillo is a "No surprises" place which is great as a working base because we can relax after a hard day's work in a very nice and comfortable environment.
