Gute Lage nahe Zentrum.

Basic hotel. Nothing special.Posted Aug 30, 2015
Paid way more here for a bare bones room than we did for a luxury experience in Vienna. Pros - close to Old Town. Floor fan provided to help with heatwave. Generous buffet and helpful staff. Cons - very basic room at end of long hall. Equipped with a/c but extra 10 euros/day to turn it on. Bathroom had broken sink stopper, no ventilation, no light for mirror. Turning shower on full popped sprayer out of holder. Only toiletries were institutional soap dispensers in wall. Free Internet was very slow and unreliable.

Good hotel close to Salzburg old town.Posted Aug 22, 2015
Pros: Friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Hot water available in reception to make hot drinks.
Location: This hotel is ten minutes walk from the Mirabell Gardens and Old Town. There is a pedestrian precinct down into town with good shops to browse enroute
This hotel is a comfortable base to use when visiting Salzburg. The room I was allocated was on the ground floor and quiet apart from returning other guests at night. Air conditioning is a paid extra but I managed well with the window open. Beds are quite firm but comfortable and the bedding is good quality and clean. The room as a whole was immaculate and cleaned every day. Breakfast is buffet style and I found it a good and varied selection. There was plenty to eat and staff were constantly replenishing stocks. I found staff in all parts of the hotel friendly and obliging and would not hesitate to stay here again if visiting Salzburg. The number 2 bus from the airport stops 5 minutes walk from the hotel. Very easy to find from the bus stop.

Bequemes Stadthotel zentral gelegenPosted Jul 21, 2015

Posted Jul 14, 2015
Pros:

O.k hotelPosted Jul 12, 2015
Pros: It was in salzburg!
Cons: Not to charge 10euros to use the air con!
Location: Location is o.k and quite near train station
This hotel was o.k and not positioned badly, didn't have bad experience but would try a different hotel next time, however, salzburg is the most beautiful place I have ever been or seen, simply stunning!

Disappointed service for out of electricityPosted Jun 7, 2015 on Hotels
The electricity was out of service on first night, the staff couldn't fix it and didn't offer us to change the room nor give us some compensation. We just had no electricity and stayed in a dark room for whole night. Fortunely, we had our own iPhone for torch otherwise I couldn't see how can we take a shower in a totally dark room. If the staff was not customer oriented, he should offer some extra help.

Nice hotel not far from old town centre.Posted Jun 1, 2015
Pros: Light, attractive hotel.Well kept-clean and neat and tidy.Helpful and pleasant reception staff.Nice breakfast room.
Cons: Only thing I would highlight was the tiling in the shower would benefit from just a little work to freshen it up.Otherwise I found room to be good.
Location: Old town centre a straight forward 15 minute walk away.I travelled to/from city by train-train station 20-25 minute walk away.
Used this hotel to stay in Salzburg for five nights whilst touring round Austria.

Lovely hotel so close to the centre of everythingPosted May 28, 2015
Pros: It was so close to all the attractions in the old town and to public transport but it was such a peaceful and quiet location
Location: Only 5 - 10 minutes walk from the old town attractions
We would recommend this hotel to everyone. It is so close to all the city centre sights and to public transport to the other attractions (Untersberg mountain, Helbrunn Palace, the zoo) and yet it is so peaceful and quiet. All the staff were so helpful and friendly to everyone staying there. There was a huge choice at the buffet breakfast!
