Hotel Goldgasse Highly Recommended
A really lovely stay in a super comfortable boutique hotel. What made this exceptional for me was the kind, welcoming and professional team, with special mention and thanks to Ulrike. She was friendly and welcoming from our first meeting. That is what makes a short stay memorable. The room was nicely fitted and great bathroom. The breakfast was also excellent. Highly recommended and hope to stay again next time we are in Salzburg.

Gem in Salzburg!
Absolutely amazing hotel and wonderful stay. My wife and I felt like home greeted by the most amazing host / owner. The breakfast at the hotel, magnificent! I am well traveled and this boutique hotel stands out as compared to other places in Europe I’ve stayed. 1. Location, location, location! Right in the middle of old town, heart of Salzburg. Easy to find and accessible from Salzburg Hbf via bus (see Google maps). 2. The room is clean, comfortable, and I could not find a negative. 3. The host, she is a sweetheart that will make you feel home. The hotel staff also extended the same warm welcome that makes the stay even better. My wife and I stayed 2 nights and were very satisfied with our stay. I thank the host for her hospitality and I would always stay here whenever I return to Salzburg. Amazing stay!!

Property was very difficult to find but well worth it!! Off site parking in parking garage. You have to carry your luggage through town. Staff was extremely helpful in helping us find hotel. Beautiful hotel and great restaurant. Very convenient to all walking sites in the old town. English was spoken well by staff!

Beautiful and friendly Boutique hotel in Salzburg
Beautiful little boutique hotel in the heart of the old town with fabulous owner who made us feel like we were visiting old friends! Stylish and unique property with a fantastic restaurant where we dined on the first night. Excellent place to stay in Salzburg, highly recommend!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this property. Facilities were lovely, and the staff were the best of all. We left our passports at our prior destination, and the front desk could not have been more helpful to us to sort through the trouble! 11/10 recommend!!

The hotel is a gem on a guiet street. It was our first visit to Salzburg and the location was perfect. Everything was within a 15 minute walk. The staff was phenomenal and made you feel instantly at home. If you are looking for a small intimate hotel this is it.

This hotel is amazing! Ulrike is a wonderful hostess and such a charming person! She took care of everything for us. The room was incredible and close to everything in old town. Very modern and perfect for our 3 day stay.

Very nice small hotel. We were personally greeted by the innkeeper and given a complimentary glass of sparkling wine at check in. Location is right off the main square maybe 200 feet. Room was comfortable with a little sitting area right outside.

My stay here was excellent! They let me check in very early, which was very much appreciated after an overnight journey. My room was very clean, decorated so uniquely with musical elements, and the free mini fridge and espresso bar was so appreciated! They definitely thought of everything to make me comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and so decadent, and the server was a delight...offering sparkling wine and as much coffee and food as I could eat. The location can not be beat - steps away from the Salzburger Dom and just a block from the city bus stops. I've been to Salzburg many times and this was by far the best accommodations I've had!

The Hotel Goldgasse is a fabulous small luxury property in the heart of the old town of Salzburg and was both a phenomenal stay and an exceptional property. We were greeted by the owner Ulricke with hot towels, a welcome bag, a big Austrian hug and did not ask for any type of payment at check in. She took our bags and we went to our premium view suite #40 on the top floor with its own private rooftop patio deck. Fabulous view of the Salzburg Castle and the location is perfect.

A fabulous welcome to the loveliest gem we stayed in on our family tour of Europe. Bedrooms were gorgeous with spacious bathroom the entire hotel was spotless. It’s location was so central we could walk everywhere and finally the breakfast was incredible

Very old building with modern rooms. Great location, very nice staff, very comfortable beds, discount given for parking in Altstadt parking. Breakfast was an additional fee so both mornings we found nice, historic cafes nearby. There was some street noise but since it’s a small street it’s not to disruptive. Very enjoyable stay.
