Clean, very nice exterior, nice architecture, close to beach, restaurants and shopping. BUT, interior left a lot to be desired. A/C missing in common area (pipes still there, but painted over), very basic older furniture (sparse), old TVs, almost no decorations, windows very difficult to lock, almost no hot water, etc, etc. Thankfully, we (family of 4) only stayed there 1 night on our way around Samana peninsula, so it served our purpose of just a place to sleep. Shame, though, because if someone invested a few dollars it could be nice. But it's not. would have been very unhappy spending more than a night there.

Great, inexpensive place to stay in LT.Posted Jun 25, 2015 on Hotels
Wow! Caribey is a great place to stay in Las Terrenas. I had previously stayed in another hotel ( not mentioning names ) and paid a lot more for a lot less. The apartment was HUGE, with a fully stocked kitchen, living room, large bedroom with king sized bed, bathroom and a separate area to get ready. The location of Caribery is PRIME and you are directly across from the Fisherman's Village and walking distance to everything else. The rooftop pool is amazing, I was not expecting it! You will have a view of the entire Las Terrenas beach from up here! Definitely recommended.

Second Stay was greatPosted Jun 2, 2015 on Hotels
This was my second stay at Condo Hotel Caribey. The staff is very pleasant and the location is second to none. Javier is very accommodating and the room was ideal with a comfortable king size bed and great air conditioning.

Great Hotel!Posted Feb 3, 2015
We loved staying here! Super close to so great restaurants, the beach, shopping and more, but still a very safe area. We were two young women traveling alone and we felt completely safe here. Rooms were large, clean and air conditioned. The hotel staff was super friendly and helpful. A little heads up for families, it's next street to a local club, so there's definitely some noise at night, but wasn't too bad. This is a great place for those looking to ret away from the 'all exclusive' resort vacation to experience the real culture. Loved it*

Very limited supply of utensilsPosted Jan 10, 2015
Pros: Hotel staff all very helpful and lowed me to use the phone when ever I needed.
Cons: air conditioning, more pots and pans, tv in front room,
Location: Very close to good eating places and beach.
Only one big pot to cook with if your planning to cook forget it! Plenty of dishes to eat with but you can't cook! no microwave either. Wires hanging in front room were air conditioner used to be just one in the bedroom, big front room and but no tv only one in the bedroom bare walls no pictures would be nice if they had a few! Hotel staff were very helpful and polite! Nice infinity pool on the roof top but the infinity part faces the building next door and you can't really use it anyway account the smoke stack from the restaurant next door( smoke and smell coming out all day right to the pool deck.

Very ClassyPosted Sep 29, 2014 on Hotels
This property is located right across the street from the famous Pueblo de los Pescadores and its numerous restaurants and nightclubs. The hotel has a very nice pool and the rooms are comfortable and spacious. The staff is very pleasant and accommodating to your needs.
