Nice hotel, but possibly management issues.

We enjoyed the hotel but there were a few things that I believe were a management issue. The elevator, the one and only, broke down on Friday and still wasn't working when we left on Sunday. We were on the third floor so it became quite inconvenient. On Saturday morning the breakfast buffet ran out of coffee creamer and 2% milk. The next morning they were still out of creamer! I can understand one day, but by the by the next day someone could have made a trip to Walmart! The hotel was clean and the rooms were spacious. Good hotel for the price, just a few management issues that need to be straightened out!

Most of the 3-4 star hotels were booked due to stock show and baseball tournament. Price was a little high for the quality, but it worked for 1 night. The walls were thin and light came through the door. Parking is very limited and only available in front of the hotel, unless you want to park in the back on a dirt/muddy lot.

Caring staff

Pros: clean, comfortable, convenient and outstanding staff
Cons: add a second suite of adjoining rooms
Location: Perfect location to my business. Many restaurants just a stone's throw from the hotel. Shopping just down the street, and the downtown River Walk are
My mom and I stayed here earlier this week. My Mom has Alzheimer's, so we requested adjoining room is, but they were not available. We were assigned side by side suites but unfortunately I was unable to know when she went wandering. My Mom went on three excursions around the hotel. She couldn't remember her room number or mine. The desk agent (Lynn?) actually brought her back to my room. This happened twice more for a total of three excursions and three angelic interventions by your desk agent. We had a similar scenario on night two. Two excursions and two more Angels. Lynn brought he back and a lovely young lady from the night shift also brought her back. Under the circumstances, we decided to leave day early despite the fact that we had non-refundable reservations. I am so grateful to your staff for being compassionate people who went way beyond what is required to be deemed heroes. I will tell literally everyone I know to stay at Comfort Suites in San Angelo. And you have my business for life. Thank you, Julie Scott
