It was a lovely room and breakfast options are ok. The property sits right on a busy street so traffic is load throughout the night. If you’re looking for a quiet sleep…probably not the best place to stay. Very good hotel otherwise.

I very much enjoyed my stay at the Fairfield Inn. The beds were comfy and clean. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The breakfast was good and everything was very clean.

Currentl under remodel in lobby, pool closed
Entire lobby, entrance is demolished and under construction. Not the best impression walking into concrete floors, other than that and a water main break down the street that cussed water outage for the day, it was clean, breakfast was fine.

Terrible visit. We travel to San Magelo regularly on business and will NEVER stay at this hotel again. There was urine in the trashcan in our room and when I told the front desk that I didn't feel confident with the cleanliness of the bathroom and would like it cleaned again (as there were no other rooms available they said). Someone came and put a new bag in the trash but refused to clean. We were promised fresh towels 4 times and never got those either.
The mattress was hard and I ended up sleeping on the couch because it was so bad.
There was trash like candy wtappers and chewed gum in the elevator when we checked in and still there when we checked out. The overall cleanliness of this hotel is pretty bad..
The entire hotel is under construction but they dont tell you that when you are reserving a non refundable room. We had to try and carry our luggage over construction debris outside the pool area in order to get to the parking lot.

The property is currently undergoing a significant construction project in the main lobby/great room and additionally requiring pool closure. I didn’t see any notification of this situation when booking either on the hotel’s website or from Expedia. Had we been aware of this, we may have booked elsewhere, particularly because we were traveling with small children. The construction project also had a negative impact on parking.
The staff was friendly and helpful and the room was fine. We would consider staying at this property in the future after the demolition and renovation is complete.

Stingy on the coffee supplies in the room. Front desk totally out of coffee pods. However, desk clerk was super helpful trying to find a stash somewhere, so the service was still great.

The only nice thing I can say is that they had nice staff working. One room was flooded from the ac unit to the bed, they were kind enough to move rooms. The second room had no tv service. The staff tried to fix it, but couldn't, so we moved again. The pool was green and slimy. The staff said there hasn’t been anyone there for the pool in 2 weeks. You can't have a pool in the summer with no maintenance weekly. Last of all there was a hole in the dinning room area. This hotel obviously is under bad management and they don't care about maintaining the property properly.

The beds here are very uncomfortable and it was hard to get any sleep. The pool was shut down the entire time we were there. They did not have enough toilet paper in the room. 2 rolls for a family of 6. The room was smaller than it appeared in the pictures. Very pricey, in total $175 for one night from check in at 3pm to check out at 11am.
