Hotel is great close to ASU and great service it is our home away from home

Pleasantly Surprised

Pros: amenities and price
Cons: note sure - again impressed at the level of convenience and amenities at this price
Stayed at a Fairfield in Roswell a month earlier and impressed by the amenities for the price - so tried this one in san angelo based my experience in roswell - just as nice - so am going to try Fairfield for future travel

Avoid this one if you can

4 night stay Noisy hotel - people up and down halls and slamming doors until 1:30 most nights. Kids running all around lobby and breakfast area in the mornings. Housekeeping is spotty at best. Clean the obvious stuff, but leave streaks on mirrors, don't replace shampoo, drinking cups, and sometimes even towles. Breakfast is terrible. Same stuff every day - scrambled eggs and sausage patties. Staff is nice enough, but are apathetic to any issue brought up to them. Bottom line - there are much nicer hotels about a mile west of here; choose one of those

The good with the bad

Hotel was good up to date. It was clean and the rooms were good. The staff as excellent. The only thing was the toilet was having some terrible issues and the service guy gave it a couple of plunges. Told us it would be okay and left. Well, the next morning, it wouldn't even begin to flush. It was a good thing we were checking out that morning.

The hot tub was broken and the pool needed work. Not clean.

Very nice and clean place to stay. Only issue I have is I have a surprise additional charge ($33.00+) on my credit card from Fairfield Hotel. Not too happy about that.

The extra on your card should have just been an authorization that is held to cover incidentals and normally drops off in 5-7 business days. San Angelo-small town Texas

Small town, but we were picking up family at Goodfellow, otherwise we would probably never go there. The International Water Lily garden was interesting but the rest of the Civic park was pretty dead and unkempt, rather odd. People in the town were friendly and drivers polite, not like in the city.
