nice hotel in San Angelo

I liked just about everything about my experience at this hotel. However, I would make vending machines more obvious to the guests, increase the number of cable channels a bit to include the Golf Channel and other sports channels.

Didn’t have a king bed which is what we reserved. We showed them the confirmation and they said Expedia sometimes sent the wrong info.

Nice big clean room !! Beds were very hard and lumpy , same for pillows !

Good location but...

Toilet wasn't clean. Tiny, tiny bathroom. Outside of room building was rundown.

Enjoyed our stay. We rented here two weekends in a row.we will definitely continue staying here in the future. Great price.

Not all that great

I reserved a king size bed on Expedia. Upon arrival, however I was informed that they had no king size nonsmoking rooms. I was given a room in the back of the hotel were it was packed with seasonal workers with large loud trucks that left at 5 in the morning. The front of the hotel seemed almost deserted. I went to the restroom and there was hair in the bathtub and a used towel hanging on the door which lead me to believe this bathroom had not been cleaned. Gross. I was disappointed in the quality of La Quinta to say the least.

I am sharing them with my Head Housekeeper and my Room Attendant team to coach them up and assure that proper cleaning procedures are being followed. Sadly, when booking rooms, it only accounts for the type of bed you request and not for whether it is smoking or non. Although, from the outside the building looks older, the rooms inside are perfect. The bed was so comfortable and we had a fanatic stay. Very clean and extremely helpful staff. I would recommend anyone who needs to stay in San Angelo. Would stay here again

Everything seemed ok......until

First of all the manager was helpful and friendly. The breakfast was a joke. The only warm food was waffles. The coffee was terrible. Not much of a selection of food. They had bagels, dry muffins, hard boiled eggs and some bruised up fruit. The room was ok. Kind of a funky smell in the room when we checked in. I bought some air freshener on a trip to Wal-Mart and it helped thank goodness. Do not recommend.

Very close to food, lakes, etc.

We had the 2 double beds with couch bed, fridge, microwave, plenty of room for 2 adults and 3 kids.
