San Antonio baby, stayed on the River walk it was Amazing. This is a pic on the side of the Alamo :) Lovely gardens, pretty waterfalls, calm water, koi pond... Random stairs exiting the River Walk.
Strolling the River Walk is a must when visiting San Antonio. But be sure to not just hit the main loop in the center of town. That is over run with tourists, and bad dining options. Instead, head north to the Pearl Brewery area. Its a nice walk and builds your appetite too. After visiting the Alamo, visit the River Walk and grab a bite to eat The San Fernando Cathedral is a magnificent piece of architecture to shoot. From what I hear, the inside is even cooler. In my opinion, shoot the church around sunset when the lights come on; it's a really awesome sight to see. If you plan to take picture of the church, might I suggest shooting the church's reflection in one of the fountains in the main plaza. With enough patience, you can get a really fun & creative shot. There are some great restaurants along the River Walk in San Antonio. The riverwalk is both way too touristed & a must do thing when visiting.

The gothic-style cathedral of San Fernando in San Antionio, TX shines at dusk behind tourists on a Segway tour Mar. 12, 2015.
The original church of San Fernando was built between 1738 and 1750. The walls of that church remain today as the sanctuary of the cathedral, which gives rise to its claim as the oldest cathedral in the State of Texas.
The cathedral was enlarged in 1868, giving it its gothic style.

Following a 13-day siege, Mexican troops under President General Antonio López de Santa Anna launched an assault on the Alamo Mission near San Antonio de Béxar (modern-day San Antonio), Texas, United States, killing all of the Texian defenders. Santa Anna's cruelty during the battle inspired many Texians—both Texas settlers and adventurers from the United States—to join the Texian Army.
