Nothing unique. Look like this property used to be like a red roof inn or low budget motel and converted, which wasn’t done the best.

I like that it was 8 minute drive to downtown. Didn't like that there were no microwave in room. No buisnes center for computer access. Front desk staff wasn't the friendliest. Unaware we get charged a $25 fee if we arrive early. May have said on the site and i just assumed. We usually stay at Embassy suites and i assumed all Hilton were pretty close with accommodations. Doubletree offers and advertise warm fresh cookies upon check in. We did not receive or get asked if we like a cookie. I mentioned it and was told we have to ask. Never had that happen when i visited the Doubletree in Michigan. The room smelled musty and moist. TV flickered for awhile then eventually fixed itself.

Formal dining area next to noisy bar.....should be separated for a quality experience.... no separation of incoming/outgoing foot traffic to elevator and restaurant / bar / parking and the seating area in the lobby -

Disgusting rooms
Horrible room experience. The description says close to downtown, you have to drive a good 10 mins still. You could pay the same amount to stay IN the river walk. Hotel does not include breakfast, you have to pay for parking every time you go in an out and the gate sometimes doesn’t open and you have to call a number to open it, which isn’t even part of double tree. You have to pay a separate company to park at double tree. The hotel rooms are very very outdated and dirty. The carpet is disgusting. I got there and there was blood in my sheets, the pillow cases smelled, and the whole room smelled like sweat and dirt. Not worth it. You can pay the same price for better service, a more updated and clean hotel, and possibly parking included.
