family friendly and great locationPosted Sep 2, 2015
The staff is super customer oriented. If you have a young family this would be a great place to stay. We missed breakfast but the evening happy hour had hot dogs, popcorn, ball park nachos and pasta with red sauce which I think would keep the little ones fed for free. Not so enticing for adults without kids. For $175 per night I think I will find a place less kid oriented with real cotton sheets and soft towels - not polyester sheets with sand paper towels. The room was clean and staff was super helpful and location is within walking distance of many great sights.

Air conditioner in room did not work well, staff was prompt in checking it but nothing was done to fix it. Eating schedule was confusing for all the places to eat.

Great hotel close to RiverwalkPosted Sep 1, 2015
Pros: Good condition, friendly staff, clean, good location
Cons: The desk and table in our room was not convenient to use. Space was too small
Location: The location was great, close by to Riverwalk, restaurants, Alamo, River center Mall, etc.
This hotel was clean and convenient to the Riverwalk which is what my wife and liked. Free breakfast available each morning, with sausage and eggs plus some nice bagels, bread, fruit and cereal. There were also free drinks and free popcorn offered. The Cathedral Terrace view was fantastic over in the tower. I would recommend to a friend

Excellent stayPosted Aug 24, 2015
Excellent hotel on the river walk. Plus you get breakfast, dinner, and 3 complimentary alcohol beverages each day. Valet line was a bit long when checking out though. But overall stay was amazing.

Beds were comfortable. A/C was great along with the ceiling fan. Dinning area runs out quick. Food is good beats having to pay for dinner for the whole fam. Walking distance to everything around riverwalk. We will definitely be back to stay

Pros: The staff was very good.
Location: Poor location. Too far from activities on the riverwalk.
First room they gave us had a dirty bed. Afternoon happy hour food was not hot or very fresh. Breakfast was not hot. I can see why it is free. It is in a pretty bad area, lots of homeless hanging around outside.
