San Antonio River Front

Posted Aug 28, 2015
Pros: Very Clean and very courteous Staff.
Cons: All things were excellent.
Location: Walking distance to the Alamo, shopping mall, and establishments. the sightseeing tour was GREAT. the city bus system has availability at the hotel.
This was very convenient to all of the River Front establishments. It was about 4 to 5 blocks to walk to the Alamo.

Great location and amenities

Posted Aug 23, 2015
Our family of 5 stayed here for two nights in the queen suite (two queen beds and pull out bed) and were very happy with our stay. The beds and pillows were wonderful and the suite was spacious. The hotel was really clean and our room was quiet. The seat cushions on the sofa bed were slightly torn, but It didn't affect functionality and other than that, the room was in good shape. We had an issue with the air conditioning not working well in the TV area and a maintenance man arrived and fixed it within 30 minutes (new filter and vent adjustment) - we were pleased with the responsiveness. The mini- fridge and microwave came in handy for keeping snacks on hand for our kids. The free breakfast was delicious and plentiful (eggs, made-to-order omelets, French toast, pancakes with warm syrup, bacon and sausage, a variety of fruit, yogurts, cereals, breads and pastries, plus coffee, juice and soft drinks). There was also a daily happy (2) hour with complimentary beer, wine and alcohol and munchies like chips and salsa, trail mix, and cheeses. the staff was friendly. Parking is exorbitant at $30 a night but there aren't any other options; at least the valet is quick and you can go in-and-out. Pool and spa area was small but well-kept and stocked with towels. We felt safe (room key needed to access the guest floors), and liked that we were able to walk right out the door and down a short set of steps to the Riverwalk. This is our new go-to hotel in San Antonio. Highly recommend.

Our two night stay was WONDERFUL!!

Posted Aug 22, 2015
Pros: Overall accomodations, and the fact that it was right on the River Walk.
Cons: nothing!
Location: The hotel was close to everything in the Downtown San Antonio area!
We were welcomed when we arrived, and the staff offered for us to leave luggage in their care until our room was ready. The Valet guys were great; they very knowledgeable and friendly. They were a great help. Our room was exceptional!! The comp breakfast was unbelieveable! It was better than many restaurants. Happy hour was also delightful! Overall, our stay was Grade A+.

Weekend on The Riverwalk

Posted Aug 18, 2015
Pros: Very spacious, location, great breakfast
Cons: Number of towels in rooms based on number in party. We only had 3 towels for our party of 6 and it take a day to get more.
Location: Location was on a quiet end of the Riverwalk, but an easy walk to all the Riverwalk activities. Close to the Market Square and the Alamo.
Our party of 6, 2 adults and 4 kids, were very comfort in our suite. You did not feel like you were sitting on top of one another. It was walking distance to The Market Square and was on the quiet end of the Riverwalk. The only issues we had was the hair ball on the kitchenette sink and getting enough towels for our party. The breakfast was wonderful and the valets service was prompt and courteous.

It was nice and clean just overpriced! Charge you 30 dollars a day to park on top of 250 dollars a day! That was not told beforehand! They added to bill after you check in

Nice but could be a lot better

Posted Aug 4, 2015
Pros: Free hot breakfast w/ omelette station and happy hour with snacks are a nice perks.
Cons: Cleaning crew need to work fast and accurate, and also added to get the room ready on time.
Location: Location at the Riverwalk is a big plus, no need to spend time driving around looking for parking. Only 3 blocks away from the Alamo +++
Checked in was 3 hrs late because the rooms were not ready. With hotel of this magnitude, they should have more maid service to clean the room fast and get it ready at check in time. Found two live cockroaches in the room, one in the ceiling and the other was scouring our trash bin, very disgusting. Guest services gave us free dinner and free movie voucher to make up for the cockroaches. Also get free valet for not having our room ready at check in

Great staff! Lots of smiles!

Had a corner suite with a private balcony. So much better than I had expected! Room temperature was perfect as were our room amenities. I was hoping to have riverwalk access from the hotel but seeing how it was less than half a block away to the riverwalk, I was glad I traded that for their amazing breakfast accomadations. Great stay!
