Good hotel not far from real hustle and busle.

Pros: Clean,Mostly accomodating , Great front desk
Cons: Tell the security guard to get a life,everything is not life and death to the minute.
Location: Not on main riverwalk but close enough.
The Embassy Suites is a very good hotel that is about a 5 minute walk from the real moving par of the Riverwalk. The rivertaxi comes by every 30-45 minutes if you want to try that, but you can walk faster to get to the happening places faster. The hotel itself is a very nice place to stay with a great free breakfast and a decent reception from 5:30-7:30 exactly! due to a not so nice security person. Due to him we had dinner at another place since he wouldn't accommodate us after getting off a 1hr watertaxi wait to get back to the hotel. Other than that all other personal were wonderful. The front desk was very helpful with ?'s. The only other drawback was the AC vent across from our room door . It was like walking into the North Pole with the wind blowing out of that thing. The whole end of the hallway was freezing. I would definitely stay here again but not in the same room

Hotel close to River Walk

Pros: Breakfast and location
Cons: Room could be updated
Location: Walked to Riverwalk and the Alamo
Liked the hotel with their good breakfast choices and the happy hour with snacks. Our room could have used more updated furniture otherwise our stay was very good.

Great Location/Great Breakfast

Pros: The rooms were big and clean. The public areas were nice a spacious.
Cons: nothing that I saw
Location: Majestic Theater, River Walk. It's on the quiet end of the river walk.
This is a great location if you are attending a show at the Majestic Theater as the parking and traffic looked terrible. The hotel was great, the staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast the next morning was exceptional and there was plenty of room to sit and enjoy the great food. Probably the best breakfast buffet I've ever eaten.

Dirty Room & Nickle and De

Room was dirty. Hair in every corner of the entire suite. Parking $30 a day when public parking is $5 a day. Also thought internet was included,but it was $4.95 a day as well. I will not stay again.

Great experience and excellent amenities! Manager's reception and breakfast were good. The room was quiet, comfortable and well kept. Good location and close to shops and restaurants on the Riverwalk.

Great service, nice hotel and good location

Pros: Location, breakfast, the room, the staff was friendly and helpful. We felt very comfortable at this hotel.
Cons: Overall the system appears to be working.
Location: Acenar restaurant, the Riverwalk, the Alamo, a mall, an IMAX theater and tons of shops and restaurants are all within a reasonable distance.
We booked a suite for a family of 5. We had some issues with our initial room at check-in. We worked with the manager on duty, Jeremy. He listened to our concerns, addressed our concerns, ensured we were happy and followed up later in our stay to ensure all was well. Overall the stay exceeded our expectations. We have 3 teen boys and had an excellent experience with Scooter Power Tours. The highlight of the trip for the family. Acenar, a tex-mex restaurant is very close to the hotel and not be missed. A drive to the Smoke Shack for BBQ is well worth your time as well.

Hotel close to river walk

Hotel was close enough to Riverwalk but far enough to get away from the noise of the crowds. I enjoyed the free breakfast and the free evening drinks in the lobby area.
