Great, comfortable, with privacy.

We had a great time was beautiful, valet and front desk staff where great! Rooms where clean and beds comfortable. Breakfast was delicious specially the french toast, was our favorite. There was construction on one side of the building so we did not get to enjoy it all . Other than that, we enjoyed our stay .

Close to Riverwalk action

Great hotel right on the riverwalk and close to a lot of restaurants. Nice buffet breakfast or made to order omlette station. Having the evening reception is nice to get a quick snack and drink while waiting to go to dinner. The hotel is nice and clean and quiet. The pool can get overwhelmed in the summer with kids but if you go during the day it is fairly quiet. The kids come out in the late afternoon.

Fun, Good Location and Very Nice Property

Pros: Much of the hotel felt new and updated and fresh. I really liked the huge open concept lobby with the beautiful stone work. Staff was great too.
Cons: The free breakfast buffet is a nice idea but they should manage it better to prevent abuse. Suggestion: give ONLY one plate & one bowl to each guest.
Location: You are steps from the river walk and within easy walking distance from everything offered in the downtown area (shopping, museums, historic buildings
We took my mom who is in her 80's for a little get away for 4th of July to the Riverwalk area in San Antonio but we needed a two bedroom two bath suite with a living area which is hard to find. We had a lovely stay and the room was perfect. The beds are extremely nice and comfortable. The lobby is grand and open and spacious and you are only 100 yard to the steps that go down to the Riverwalk. We had a very nice time. The breakfast they include is great but be aware if you don't go by 8am to 8:30am during a weekend or holiday time it is ridiculously crowded and people completely abuse the offering of free food by piling on food they will never eat. I would recommend this hotel to friends and family for a good location to enjoy San Antonio and the Riverwalk.

Great place to stay, right on the Riverwalk

I was thoroughly impressed by the service of the staff at this hotel. The bar service during the Manager's Reception was second to none. Also, the food quality for breakfast was great. I can't say enough good things about the whole staff, including check-in/check-out and the hotel manager. I will definitely stay here again, if I'm ever back in San Antonio.

Great hotel on riverwalk

Great location and the room and breakfast were good. Pool was a bit small, but the hot tub was a nice addition.

Huge suite in walking distance of Alamo

We loved the size and comfort of the suite and complimentary breakfast each morning. Beds a little hard and had a minor issue with dirty linens and pool area small for number of guests. Walking distance to riverwalk, Alamo, market. Had a lot of construction on street outside which was very noisy early in the day.

Disappointing Stay

My HHhonors points were not added as I booked thru a 3rd party. Also, I could not get complementary internet as I booked thru a 3rd party. The parking was $30/day, too high for me. I doubt if I will ever stay in another Embassy Suites.

Nice hotel on the river walk.

Within walking distance to most attractions except Fiesta and Seaworld. A great free breakfast! Clean and accommodating! Drawbacks would be the 130 for parking and the lack of easy accessibility to my car. You have to get a valet every time you want your car or need something out of the car.

Righf on the river walk!

Very luxurious with great amenities. Two hour free happy hour in the evening and a free full breakfast buffet (not just a waffle maker!), in the mornings. Directly on the famous San Antonio river walk and within easy walking distance of the Alamo. Would recommend this place to others.
