Great price and just a couple of blocks from the riverwalk and Alamo. Only issue is there is no parking lot. They do have Valet service though.

Hotel is outdated, not clean, pool is extra small compared to the pictures shown in Expedia, staff is not friendly or helpful especially the valet service manager. He misplaced my car keys and I waited for almost 30min then asked what was the problem, that’s when he decided to tell me they couldn’t find my keys. He was rude and I explained that they were probably inside the car because the car doesn’t lock if they didn’t have the keys. The keys were inside the car. We were almost late to our event because he didn’t want to tell me he couldn’t find them. The front desk staff is always gone and not helpful either. The only good thing about the hotel is the location but I prefer paying more than staying here again.

The location was great. The variety in breakfast foods each day was nice. Unfortunately a very rude guest caused a middle of the night evacuation of the hotel by smoking in their room. This had nothing to do with the hotel or the staff but it definitely was memorable.

We asked for a king bed and got two full size beds. Our room was right next to a nightclub that was loud until 3am. We had to be up early for my nieces gymnastics meet and had very little sleep due to noise. Bathroom smelled awful.

Excellent location, literally right next to the Alamo and an easy walk to the Riverwalk; no, its not the most luxurious property, but it totally met our expectations given its price point. The free breakfast was great and we were pleasantly surprised that our room had a mini fridge and a microwave.

We enjoyed our stay at Fairfield! Overall, our room and property were pretty clean! The bathroom was a little older, outdated, and darker, but the rest of the room was brighter and more contemporary. We enjoyed the amenities here, including a gym, small pool and jacuzzi which came in handy after the San Antonio 10k! The breakfast had eggs and either sausage or sausage/potato hash, cereal, waffles, toast/bagels, oatmeal, fresh fruit, yogurt, and surprisingly OK coffee! I loved the staff the most and how they set out food and coffee for us for the early runs! Everyone we spoke to was genuinely kind and friendly and very helpful. The valet service was incredibly convenient too! This hotel is easily within walkable distance to The Alamo, River Walk, Convention Center, and about a 30-minute walk from the Pearl District. Great stay, will definitely stay here again!

I passed on having the room cleaned after the first day but the second day they cleaned but did not change the sheets and makeup the bed. Maybe that’s not being done unless you request it.

They did everything right. They were very helpful when needed. The only bad thing was the flyer for Big Johns that was slid under the door. I made the mistake of ordering from Big Johns Pizza and I've never been more embarrassed to have paid for food in my life. It was a disaster. But that isn't the Hotels fault. So all stars for Fairfield.
